Literally the first 8 seconds of the video you squeeze through a partially destroyed building on Golmud... goddamn
simple version:
step 1: fly up and down with W and S rapidly.
step 2: keep your crosshair on the enemy heli.
So you see how this guy locks on to me so i need to break the lock, i fly down toward this building, through the keyhole and that should be you safe

I wish I had the patience to learn mouse and keyboard for flying: the potential accuracy is obviously greater, but I still win most duels with my controller. Some trick flying here

I use the mini gun for air targets, 25mm for infantry and land vehicles. Though the mini gun can be a beast against infantry IF you have good accuarcy.

yea you forgot to mention your laser accuracy helps a-lot ;) and thanks this helped me realize that I sometimes over commit to a heli fight and need to let them come to me
Heh, i watched this video 3 years ago. Its been so long since i played bf4 constantly. My favorite things were Helicopters and Jets. I'm god with both of them i did so much god plays with them and never recorded one... :( Still its nice to remind a little bit about this old stuff.

Excellent piloting skills. I'm slowly learning the scout chopper on ps3. I'm getting better quickly, but any suggestions or tips for a novice pilot would be greatly appreciated. I have the most trouble getting accurate hit markers on other choppers during a fight. Practice practice practice.

I play hardcore and always opt for a chopper when available. why is it so many chopper pilots would rather play normal mode

(For Hardcore players) I learned also if you can really hang close behind them in their ecm retreat to a distance, alot of pilots make the mistake of not checking their surroundings close by out the windows. You can follow their spin from above or even below them. And continue to tail them for a Kill.

you are a really good pilot, i think that makes the biggest difference, flying skill. probably the single biggest difference is accuracy while moving
you win by skill by aiming a lot better
im pretty good at flying the heli. but i play on console and my aim can be shakinh sometimes

Buy a pc, gotcha.
I do feel a delay of 1/2 second between moving my mouse & reaction of crosshair, this makes it pretty hard for me to react quickly to other heli's movements. Any ideas how to avoid the delay? Tried to play around in options but without success. Tks!

If you're using the 25mm cannon I would go with auto loader.
I would always use gyro

Dammm... those piloting skills! I considered myself a pretty good helicopter-pilot, but now I realize I got to go back to pilot kindergarten. But I'll probably never be as good as you, simply because I play on console and the controller doesn't give me as much accuracy as a mouse and keyboard can. I did pick up a lot of useful tips, like using your surroundings more to your advantage. Thanks man!
