I wasted so much time on this. I verified file integrity, messed with audio settings and ended up reinstalling the same. This quest is total bullshit.

This quest was completely unrelated to Simulanka. On top of that, it's a quest that involves playable characters and no voice overs. Lol quite the fail there Hoyo
I think it’s actually linked to Cyno’s quest where you meet Sethos, but they put the start of it in Simulanka for some reason. I’m not sure why it’s not voiced. Even the cinematics were done like there should have been VAs. Freaking weird.
not just that, BUT NO WAY TO SKIP OTHER QUESTS. i couldnt do it bc i have alhaitham quest activated and it wouldnt let me do anything. how do you make a limited quest and not give the option to temporarily suspend permanent ones? they definetly have done that before

This was such a funny and long quest. Shame it wasn't voiced. The amount of Sumeru characters that appeared here are basically the whole cast of Sumeru I think lmao
it was the entire Sumeru cast apart from Nilou and Hat Guy

This quest was incredibly boring and right off the tail of such a great event too. I'm confused why they even added this and at times I felt like the quest was referencing itself talking about how boring the book was. Also, there were several spelling mistakes and/or translation errors which just made me think this quest was rushed.

This quest is a joke. Book is a reference to the quest itself. "Book is boring and marking names was more interesting" - quest itself is boring and meeting sumeru characters ("marking names") was more interesting than the quest's story. Kaveh was the first who marked a name and this name belongs to villain - Kaveh was a "villain" who created this mess. Also quest refers to some stamps from bad written stories, e.g. Nahida appears from nowhere and points where we can find a person - in badly written stories detective can ask help from a psychic to find a person because the author failed to come up with a better plot solution. So this quest is kinda related to the idea of Simulanka - the book is a mirror of reality.

I was searching for a recap bc this being silent with so much yapping about literally nothing,...made me skip as much as possible. It was basically a misunderstanding about a boring book with names circled in it, and everyone thought it's a puzzle or murder mystery only to end up finding out Kaveh started the fashion of circling those, because he saw writting mistakes....WHAT?? What was the point of this??

Anticlimactic quest. Bunch of yappers repeating and repeating what they said and not to mention the endless back and forth to one place to another specially going to the House of Daena.

This would have been the perfect quest to be voiced since we're seeing so much ppl. I understand it costs money to pay the VAs but if it isn't voiced chances are some players will skip the dialog, they probably would have anyway but now they definitely will if it isn't voiced. That's the reason ppl skip these dialogs. I mean you can make fun of the fact that ppl just don't wanna read but it isn't so much that they don't wanna read, they just don't wanna read a 200 page novel basically for a small quest
Ig I suck at explaining things as this sounded better in my head but bottom line is why not just add a simple skip button, it isn't that difficult and I doubt it costs anything.

Kaveh unintentionally circled the murderer of badly written detective book and ended up spoiling people about the book’s plot so Alhaitham decided to circle something else to prevent spoilers but other people did it as well for shits and giggles now the whole Sumeru thinks the book has a secret meaning so everyone wants it now
