I Tried to Finish Every Quest... in 24 hours [Genshin Impact]

- Genshin Impact gets more and more quests with each update. Currently the game is in version 4.8, with version 5.0 and Natlan coming very soon.
Since so many people like to poke fun at how many unfinished quests I have, I decided to go through and try to finish every single one... in 24 hours. This included many character story quests, Golden Slumber, Aranana, Bedtime Story, Pale Flames, the Summertime event, and so many more.
There were quests in that list from the latest update, as well as some from version 1.0 of Genshin. There were some that took seconds to complete, and other that took HOURS. This was a tough challenge considering the time constraint, but in the end I'd say it was worth it... I think. Actually maybe not.

The fact Java went and collected Aranara for most likely hours is honestly hilarious, because he didn't need to do it. If you just go to the log book the quest gives you at the start it tells you what quests to do, the only reason you collect all Aranara is for some chests hidden behind 100% everything Aranara related

The Golden Slumber is like a part 1 of 3-parts world quest around Jeht's story.

Honestly, Aranara is such a beautiful quest...as long as you do it in parts. It took me almost a whole week to finish it and I loved every moment of it. I think, that's the reason why I've a very positive memory of a lot of long quests in GI (like the "Golden Slumber" and "Through the Mist" ones --> my favourite quests!). I just did them slowly and enjoyed my time.
I loved doing Golden Slumber too! Exploring the ruins felt so fun, but it took me many days to do as well
@@endermanowa "Golden Slumber" was sosoGOOD (and sad and heartbreaking! 😢). Exploring the ruins was incredibly exciting and fun. There are some quests in GI, that I wish I could do again. "Golden Slumber" is definitely one of those quests!

@@endermanowa yeah its the speedrunners who tend to complain about these long quests. just a reminder: you dont need to them in one sitting. Take your time. Even if you only interested getting primos, one banner lasts 21 days so there is no need to rush really unless u have a gambling addiction lol
Personally I don’t give a single fuck about what’s happening in the quests (except with Jeht) because I have important things to remember and it literally floods my mind to read that shit, so yeah, it’s long (and shitty) when you tap, tap, tap to try to make the dialogs faster 💀

It’s so funny seeing the clips of old character story quests because I’m just like “oh yeah I remember that!” And it was over a year since I’ve done it. The editing for the endless Aranara quest was so funny, I haven’t done it yet so it’s fun to see how it tortures other people.
Java actually did a lot of stuff that wasn't needed for the Aranara questline to be done, like freeing the machines or finding all Aranara

Unpopular opinion: Long quests are actually fun like the aranara quest but only when none of our favorate chars are on banner they good to just relax and see the story.

Tips:
If you don't want to activate a Jeht quest ( continues story of golden slumber), don't go to near Candace home. It's very long story just like aranara

finishing aranara quest in 24 hours has to be the most goated achievement mankind could ever complete
so so so glad im a completionist, only quests i get are the dailies and what ever the summer event has which will vanish when 5.0 starts
same, also happy that I started playing in 1.4. so I had everything done in Mond and Liyue by the time Inazuma came. Then finished Inazuma before Sumeru etc. I dont even speedrun anything. Now waiting for Natlan! :D everything is done in Teyvat so far.

This actually…was pretty motivating. As someone who has quite a few quests built up but hasn’t done them because it’s overwhelming to look at, I now know I could probably dedicate a weekend to emptying my quest log and rid myself of all that stress.

I love genshin and honkai star rail adds, i almost never skip them
Honestly it’s a smart idea. I’m doing something similar now that encounter points stack. So if you just spam through all the quests you won’t have to do dailies anymore. You can just condense your resin or farm a domain. No more shooting down hilichurl towers and delivering food. Just don’t claim your daily commissions reward before you’re done or it won’t stack.
You do know they will reset in 5.0, right? They said in the Livestream, at the start of each new version (3.x,4.x etc), the encounter points will reset, so I'd recommend to wait till after 5.0 so you can hold them for a year

For me I named my wanderer 'kaigo' which is japanese that means remorse, because well his quest felt like he's having remorse for all he had done in the past and wanted to make it right by atoning.

Unpopular opinion: i love Sumeru. And not only whole Aranaras all the desert as well. I did that on all three of my accounts and at some point even created a fourth one just to explore Sumeru again xD

Congrats on finishing all your quests on one of your accounts! Now imagine this: those 23 hours you spent on it, split equally over 4 years you're playing the game, represent less than one minute per day. So if you did not just one, but even a part of one quest on any of your accounts per day, you'd be caught up on all of them now, not just one.

How about a part 2 where you walk around for 24hrs and try to start as many new quests as possible without finishing. just so the quest log wont look as empty

As a note the bird hunting quest could be done by killing them or trapping them with cages, so the cages would have worked.
for long term encounter points, just spend 30 resin at anything and it will be converted automatically to a daily quest achievement, for example, if you converted 3 condensed risen using 120 risen, this will auto complete your 4 daily quests and you can receive them .

basically you get them after hitting the commission cap for the day and it overflows and ig like pools and you can spend resin to use them. idk if there’s a cap on how many you can have

Don't blame Aranara, blame yourself for doing it in a 24hr Span! Also, like others comented, the only mission needed were the one in thw books, finding the Aranara was not necesary, I still haven't find them all myself. I sometimes may encounter one if I'm doing something in Sumeru

Encounter points allow you to complete your daily commissions, just by spending resin. That includes making condensed resin as well. And they reset every 40 days or so.

I loved Sumeru; I also spent tbe entirety of it going 'bring wot to who?'😂
I will say though, the aranara quest was slightly better then Narzissenkreuz. The former was 'we collect thingies that apparently do stuff', while the latter straight up felt like being locked up in an insane asylum discussing abstract philosophy with the inmates.

I did something similar (but less torturing) a while ago, I emptied my quest log and it’s so satisfying to look at now. We‘re not gonna talk about story quests though 😅

the Aranara quest is so nostalgic, I remember doing it for days because I'm not insane to do it all at once and it was during summer too. the last boss is so cool wish we could fight it again tbh they gotta bring those in a domain or something.
