I live in Japan, the girls here are very thin compaired to Westerners. They aren suffering from eating disorders either, they eat 3 meals a day +snacks in between. The difference is what they eat and the proportions. Lots of rice and vegis, small amounts of meats, low fat nutritious foods. I've seen a girl who weighs 100 lbs. soaking wet eat 6 plates of food at a buffet.

And no, J-girls love their food but aren't this bone-juttingly skinny (I'm one, and rather thin), and bulimia is widespread....anyway that girl needs to eat.
