The actress who nailed the show was manishaa,,and sonakshi,,both of them were very much apt to the role
For those who are saying that SLB has glorified their profession and that "gajgamini walk" was vulgur. Firstly stop hindering & highlighting the word "tawaif".No reason to be disrespectful towards their profession nobody becomes that with a choice. It's our so called intellectual society who makes them feel ashamed by disrespecting them.
Secondly if he has shown something positive about their lives (them participating in the freedom moment) then we must appreciate that .As till date we have seen movies which only potrays their dark side & humiliate them . If he would have not shown their contribution to the freedom struggle then it would have remained buried forever and nobody would have felt the necessity to bring that to the world.
Well put thought, thank you
@@viewithnishikant welcome
Just bebojaan pura series chura le Gaye ❤❤
Only Genius can think like this. Omg this song is my favorite, too
Its called gaja gamini. Not swan walk
Gajagamini is a reference to the dainty walk of that of an elephant. It is a common reference to the sway of the hips of a woman from time immemorial. Bhansali blows things out of proportion and also the WhatsApp crowd
Sanjay Leela Bhansali great man , great work.Enjoyed ur work.
I would love to work with this guru❤
Thumbnail mein ye mujhe MIHIR DAS jaise dikhe..
hahaha.... Bhaiya Ab mujhey janey du.....
Very annoying host 😂😂
It's beautiful ,but not 'elegant'. It's kinda vulgar but beautiful anyway. Not comparable to Madhubala 's Gopi wala walk.
Celebrating Tawaif culture here are we? And exposing body to show curves. Brilliant
When there are item songs with barely any clothes nobody says anything. But when actresses are wearing traditional clothing and jewelry it’s suddenly “exposing body to show curves” what part of is “celebrating tawaif culture”? A song from a series on Netflix is suddenly celebrating tawaif culture?😂 the only thing people are loving is sets outfits and songs, NOBODY is celebrating or admiring their profession and even the series didn’t show any of the characters being happy of being tawaifs.
Celebrating tawaifs is the reality of society. The profession survives because there is a demand for it.
@@apurvraj2373Tawaifs do not exist anymore tho. SO many of you are referring to prostitutes, “tawaif culture” is only shown in cinema from the longest time, but nobody is really admiring the profession.
Twaifs are no way related prostitution its the British who portrayed our culture in a way that it looks evil and unacceptable! Indian society was very open minded from the beginning the narrow thinking British couldn't coup wid it hence the colonial mindset which still prevails!
@@apurvraj2373tawaif or prostitution by choice is no problem, but trading of young girls as shown in this series is disgusting. There is no need to cater to demands of morally corrupts.
It's good only but Already many south people done swan walk
Ppl make bog deal out of anything these days
Overhyped copycat average Director
That walk and her acting is just overrated. All hyped up by PR and you people get fooled.
People love it. If you don't that's okay, but don't tell us what we like and what we don't like - we can decide for ourselves, thank you very much.
@@cora.ann.s true 👍
@@cora.ann.s lol. That's why bollywood nobody has respect for cause it has foolish cinema most of the times and foolish fans like you most of the times. 🤣Or you're her PR.
again my comment is deleted by Aditi's PR! These people are so insecure where they know on acting level their talent lacks so uses PR for publicity and when somebody speaks truth they get insecure.
Exactly.. What is so great about the walk
Wow, we are talking about walk of tawaif😂😂we are progressing😁
😂See that’s what I thought. Right reasons lol apparently
So when actors in Bollywood are having sex scenes in movies like Animal or many more nobody says anything but when an actress is simply doing a choreography who happens to portray the character of a tawaif it’s “tawaif walk”
Bhansali doing Tawayaf since 2000😂😂it’s talk of the town only we are so progressive Bhansali earning money every new year. For new film showing same Tawayaf since past 24 years 😂the so called perfectionist 😂😂😂
@@Manasichitale96 yes so I think something also wrong with Indians to watch this stuff. We have a weird syndrome or loving pomposity and fake more than real things
