Why no questions or praise about Taha? Most of us watched the series because of him! And not because of any other reason. He is the reason why this show got huge hit. Give him his deserving appreciation.
Yes because she decided to underplay maybe that's why he wanted maybe he didn't wanted her to randomly move her mouth at a particular speed and call it acting

I liked that she was able to carry out that on her shoulder and it clearly shows on the screen. In the Malaal movie: - I LOVED her scene at the ocean front with Shiva, her acting was superb. She is so expressive at that time and also when she and Shiva are at her friend house and next day she is telling Shiva that they cannot get married that perfect execution of the scene by Sharmin Segal Mehta. She is a fine art example. She is marvelous and excellent even in Heeramandi. Why stupid people are trolling her.

Love SLB immensely but don’t agree with his analogy on casting his niece . There is a thin line between rawness n innocence of a newcomer and plastic , non expressiveness and unfortunately he didn’t succeed in moulding her for heeramandi . Sad but true
It's your opinion don't define it as a fact she deliberately chose to "underplay" i think her expressions were one tone ad quite muted but calling her "expressionless" altogether is a little bit too much

@@deedt8279 I completely agree with you. This is the comment I have been looking for. I feel that people are disliking her style because they are used to the expressive styles of the typical bollywood set. Nevertheless, might this be true about her acting, her attitude is not akin to what's proper in the industry. She needs to work on it, and I hope she is and will be working on it.

Why he didn't praise taha for once at least?? He appreciated all Sonakshi manisha aditi but why he ignore taha?? He's the talk of the town right now no??
I think he is doing it deliberately coz of his niece got so much bashing and she was cast opposite him.. and from that Jodi he is the one most talked about and landed in people’s heart?
@@ambika0006 yess but actually his niece was so poor at her reactions still this guy shines in the whole series at least he should appreciate him for once
The fact that he saw Taha and said he found his Tajdar in itself is a big compliment, taha had come for a small part .. but Sanjay gave him a prominent role .. what more does he need

Please don't compare Aditi's walk to Meena Kumari's in Pakeezah or Madhuri in "Maar dala" song. Aditi's walk looked cheap and and it looked like gay man dressed in women's costume walking whereas Meena Kumari in Pakeezah and Madhuri Dixit in Devdas was elegance personified.

Guys, I’ve figured it out. Sharmin’s husband must have invested in the project - he’s like super loaded. That’s why SLB had to take her. But I think he’ll bring Taha back in the next season and slowly kill sharmin off or her character will be reduced side lined as the character ages.
Even though Sharmin was a wrong choice, we can overcome and ignore that as he has given an artistic movie with other actresses …good he stopped with one nepo kid...imagine if it included ananya, sonam and other nepos...
Interview is good & shows how he is observing very minute things to make the act perfect. But also it is surprising that is he ignoring the expressionless sharmin without any acting skills bevoz she is his niece just a nepo kid. SLB plz don't repete sharmin in Seadon 2

It was a very fantastic movie with great songs and actresses. However I hope the next episodes to join Hindu women’s characters too because I’m sure that time ( before India separation’s) in Lahore also were mixed of Hindus and Muslims both. And I’m sure heermandi would not been the only Muslim tawaif. Otherwise Muslim people would think again same as the other rest of today’s Bollywood movies that it’s a show of political against religion or Muslims. Hope everything should change next at least 50% by 2 different religious of Tawaif and Nawabs …. Infact I can say, I’m always fun of Sanjay’s movies
Okk so i do admit tha she gave "muted" expressions and it didn't work for herthat she chose to "underplay" because she already has softer features like her eyes are already soft so she kinda did overdid with that softness that's coming out more flat but seriously calling it all together "expressionless" is an exaggeration in my opinion
She is beautiful in her own way but her features are not soft, rather they are very angular and give a mature and sturdy vibe. She would look great as a police officer or secret agent. Now let us assume she did great acting as alamzeb. Because every actor will play the same character differently. I wish we could see a different rendition of alam zeb. I think alia bhatt would have done a great job, She can play layered characters very well. I can imagine her alamzeb looking all innocent, vulnerable, introverted how she was in raazi. But also strong, has depth and can beautifully show emotions like Romance, Sadness, Anger and revenge.

No doubt sharmin was best choice for alamzeb because she is raw she is innocent. She has a face what alamzeb should be no doubt SLB ❤ I feel very sorry for sharmin she is very innocent she doesn’t deserve hate and jealousy😢 Even her co stars of heeramandi also making fun of her. She is facing that all just because she is nice of SLB. She has her own identity too. I think she deserve love too❤

She came up with her own body language and her own carrying out. Innocent of young girl who is just turning to teen age [how they are naive] that is what Sharmin played and yet mature enough to take blame and sacrifice herself and her life for country. Why no questions or praise about Taha? Most of us watched the series because of him! And not because of any other reason. He is the reason why this show got huge hit. Give him his deserving appreciation.

Id say bibbojaan had a larger impact than Tajdar though.

For all the explanation he gave for casting his niece, she fell flat in the acting department. It has nothing to do with her being a new comer.
Yes because she decided to underplay maybe that's why he wanted maybe he didn't wanted her to randomly move her mouth at a particular speed and call it acting
He casted Sonam in Sawariya. 😅

Sanjay leela Bhansali & Manisha Koirala -Khamoshi was a gem. I manifest they do together something on the line of 36 Chowringhee lane
I want Sanjay Leela bhansali to know that whatever him and richa did on that set of that song was magic and we felt every bit of it
Love SLB immensely but don’t agree with his analogy on casting his niece .

I feel that people are disliking her style because they are used to the expressive styles of the typical bollywood set. OTHER ACTORS PLAY HOWEVER THEY LIKE BUT - here we are talking about Sharmin. She did Good job, period. This shows on the screen. HER ACTING DO NOT COMPARE WITH OTHER ACTORS. She came up with her own body language and her own carrying out.
Innocent of young girl who is just turning to teen age [how they are naive] that is what Sharmin played and yet mature enough to take blame and sacrifice herself and her life for country. Those days’ people were that patriotic. When you are at shock mode when Manisha gives hard punishments and Sharmin shows those shocked emotions and when she wanted to take the pain with a smile that also shows on screen. If you watch it again with positive lenses to see Sharmin Segal Mehta then you will notice that her character was of a innocent girl who never stepped out of that world so I think she maintain that innocent on her facial expressions and on her dances because they are showing her that she never wanted to be part of that world so she never liked wearing jewelry etc. she never learned dance so first time when she was forced into the mess her innocents shows on the screen. I THINK SHE DID GOOD JOB. Taha also did good job. In fact she did extra ordinary job - all seniors in Heeramandi did typical same sort of acting while she stands out with very content acting. Her persona was of a very typically drawn from being at ease in one's situation, body and mind in movie. She was making someone else feel happy and at peace with things in her own mind.
These are average people who are all in a box traped with typical thoughts and opinions - In fact majority of the world we live in are that type of average people. Who can not come out of the box and have a different perspective. - SO SAD
SLB who never gives an interview, had to come up and save some grace for his niece.
Guys, I’ve figured it out. Sharmin’s husband must have invested in the project - he’s like super loaded. That’s why SLB had to take her. But I think he’ll bring Taha back in the next season and slowly kill sharmin off or her character will be reduced side lined as the character ages.
HEERAMANDI IS A HUGE HIT BECAUSE OF TAHA
Even though Sharmin was a wrong choice, we can overcome and ignore that as he has given an artistic movie with other actresses …good he stopped with one nepo kid...imagine if it included ananya, sonam and other nepos...
Interview is good & shows how he is observing very minute things to make the act perfect. But also it is surprising that is he ignoring the expressionless sharmin without any acting skills bevoz she is his niece just a nepo kid. SLB plz don't repete sharmin in Seadon 2
We want Madhuri version of "Chaudhavi shab" ! Please !
Movies hindi me bnao bt interview english me
16 audiitions she said in an interview
Bhansali is now realizing whar blunder he did by casting Sharmin 😅
Even great director like him does wrong casting like his niece.

Starting the interview with a discussion on the walk...meh
Just accept that you ruined your whole series by choosing sharmin as lead.
Bhai tu Bhansali k samne khol k let hi ja 😂
Hahahhahahaha so true
SLB should collaborate with Ismail Darbar again...
Ismail darbar is dead
Best Mamu in the world😌
It was a very fantastic movie with great songs and actresses.
SRK Daughter other girl’s in Archiee movie did not do that well compare to Sharmin - If you put girls clothes on SRK then he will look just like his daughter - so his daughter is looking ugly in the movie very artificial - SRK Daughter looks almost like a transgender - those who have seen her in person knows.
Thode retake niece ke bhi le lete .. u are my fav ever. But Sharmin was huge disappointment
Sharmin Segal best suited for the role of Alamzeb. Very well performed.
Nooo ...alamjeb should be a beautiful girl ..bcz if she is not beautiful then taahashah will not fall for her soon
sir, pls work with kangana
Sharmin wasn't innocent at all sorry, she was lakkarr ( a piece of wood)

No doubt sharmin was best choice for alamzeb because she is raw she is innocent. She has a face what alamzeb should be no doubt SLB ❤ I feel very sorry for sharmin she is very innocent she doesn’t deserve hate and jealousy😢 Even her co stars of heeramandi also making fun of her. She is facing that all just because she is nice of SLB. She has her own identity too. I think she deserve love too❤

Sanjay leela bhansali is a narcissist.
❤❤❤❤❤❤
Manisha have that Turkish Turkic features which relates to how the Mughal women were
Shermin for her role was rightful choice. People are not getting the demand of the role and she was the perfect fit
