I like seeing Rhett and Link independently of each other. Of course their chemistry is amazing. But I also like getting sense of their individual personalities.
@AdamFloro nah, I mean, IDK, but their chemistry isn't nearly as good as it used to, at least on camera. The fun is gone. They seem tired. I believe Rhett has mentioned, at least according to someone, that they are more like colleagues now. I just miss the old G double M
kind of adorable to see these two have some private bean moments without the mythical crew.... the entire vibe was different, and to be honest, was welcomed and touching, glad that everyone is such good friends and colleagues
SPORKED! It’s time to get a phone app! It would be so helpful at the store. Also if you could make if it was kinda like the Yuka App it would be helpfull
@@druidinaryme tooooo. They are always so sweet. 😢 I’m not such a big fan of the sweet sauces myself. I’d prefer one that is more savory and zesty. The bacon and extra spices I do support though!
I really like Rhett when he isn't 'being forced' to ham it up for the show. As an older viewer, I feel that the segments that most appeal to me are the less scripted ones, like this. Gwynedd is just awesome and funny as hell.
Does anyone else remember when it was Campbell’s Pork & Beans and Bush’s original and that was it? Now that aisle is a source of anxiety. “Am I buying the right beans I always used to buy?”
Gwyneddy ❤ She amazing Rhett always looks like he’s doing a science experiment or given geometry lessons 😂 Literally there sheets going to have skidmarks 😂😂
Around 2014 I was living in NC, I went to TN & took a tour of the Bushes Baked . It was fun. They had a restaurant. The restaurant sold pecan pie that was made with baked beans instead of Karol syrup. My friend made a version & it was good.
When my mother used to make baked beans she started with Van Camp's pork 'n bean and added stuff like mustard, brown sugar, & onions. I'm not sure if that's all she added, but they were tasty.
My grandmother made baked beans by adding mustard, onions, and pancake syrup to a can of pork n' beans and topping them with bacon before baking them in a casserole dish. Said pork n' beans also were the base of beans and weenies. I didn't know canned baked beans existed as a kid, lol.
I love baked beans!!! I used to eat them with hot dogs as a kid… it totally depends on my mood if I want the bold grillin beans or the milder baked beans… I never had beans on toast but my dads friends would make beans sandwiches and my aunt makes a delicious bean pie!!!
Bush's Southern Pit BBQ Grillin' Beans are my go-to when I have pulled pork BBQ at home. I ❤ them!! I could eat them right out of the can without heating them up.
I just bought two bottles of Kensington ketchup from England. The reason, products in America are notoriously too sweet. I feel the same way about baked beans. I'm 56 now. How about an episode of something comparing the sweetness of American foods vs Canada vs UK. Our food manufacturers are not doing us a favor and most people don't know there is a choice. Cheers internet people.
It's been fun to watch these videos evolve. Great camera, great audio, Love your background and table. Mostly that it's unscripted and it allows every one of your personalities to really come through. I like the idea of having all of the mythical crew rotate through as guests... Thanks!
As a Brit who grew up with Heinz beans, I don’t understand the whole “tangy tomato” taste thing. They’re so sweet already (to the point that I buy the reduced sugar version usually). They barely taste of tomatoes to me. I’ll have to try USA baked beans to see the difference, which is clearly vast.
I grew up around Maurice's. Even had a restaurant we went to. It was the 80's and we had no idea😳. Figured it out years later, thanks to the Internet..
I think the key for an American to pronounce Worcestershire is to know that there's a Worcester in Massachusetts which is just pronounced "Wooster" (like "wuss"). Then it's just "sure" like Hampshire. Wooster-sure. To make it even easier (and more authentic?), you can imagine someone from Boston saying "Woosta", and make it Woosta-sure.
My favorite 1 of my favorite beans is butter beans with Kerrigold butter! When I didn't have much money I mixed a bunch of beans together and it was great! Few cans of Kidney beans and Baked beans It's been years. l mixed together Taste great I think so I love beans!
Epazote is a must buy to make beans better. It is a game changer-I bought it because I was making a Rick Bayless recipe that called for it, but now I don't cook beans without it.
Something I really miss is Heinz Curry baked beans. I can find regular Heinz here sometimes, but can't find the curry variety. Can't find curry Pringles here either...what does the US have against curry? Lol.
I like seeing Rhett and Link independently of each other. Of course their chemistry is amazing. But I also like getting sense of their individual personalities.

@@itztrail2142 Why "WAS"? Did something happen to one of them?

Love beans, Love Rhett, and love Gwynedd. This was the perfect episode for me.
Me too!!!! I was so excited! Did not disappoint
Same!!
T'was refreshing!🎉
2 of my favorite people at Mythical, I love their chemistry.
This Rhett guy is pretty fun. He should do stuff like this more often
Hahahaha
Ok Yoko Ono
Ye, he sounds like he'd do good ranking foods in front of him arranged in a table
@@SummergchAnd maybe pair him up with a co-host...maybe

Mythical Kitchen viewers: Why isn’t Rhett on the chili episode?!
Sporked: We got you
Ha! That didn't even dawn on me
Literally was thinking the same!!
100 percent, almost feels wrong to have anything that has a heavy focus on beans and not have Rhett there.
SPORKED! It’s time to get a phone app! It would be so helpful at the store. Also if you could make if it was kinda like the Yuka App it would be helpfull
YES. One without as many ads, maybe? 😆
Facts! Also I love yuka
I would be a religious user
You could add a home screen shortcut to the site? Looks like you can't install it as an html app yet tho
@@pretzel8054I definitely get needing ads to generate income, so maybe paying a small fee to not get them?
15:28 No Gwynedd! Control your beans! You mixed them up! The Saucy plate got switched with Bush's!
I like Rhett in this format a lot! Where he doesn’t have to be the jokester or balance out Link (who I think would also be good in this format).
My Mom used to pimp out canned baked beans with mustard ,brown sugar, and bacon .. she'd cook them for a long time, and they were heavenly. 🫘🍛
I mean for a bigger family meal I def still do this, but for a Wed night hot dog thing- it’s good to know what can on its own is best
She let men have sex with the beans in exchange for money?
My uncle puts a whole trotter in there
The brown sugar is what I've never liked about American style beans.

Rhett needs to visit the Bush's Bean Museum in Dandridge TN and give Dollywood another chance.

This is a great pair. She's so chill and funny just naturally. And of course Rhett's love for beans.
16:12 she messed up and tried the bushes brown sugar beans as the other bacon ones! The beans on the left were the other bacon option
"Kind of don't tell me what to do." Gwynedd, I agree.

Rhett & Gwynedd are my favorite! Loved this episode! ♥
Growing up in New England…the only canned beans we had were B&M baked beans. So good
I've gotta say, I love the word "beaniness"
I love SPORKED. These ladies are the best and have loved the content 60 yo lady. 😊
the tidbit about the amy’s beans feels life changing and I can’t wait to try
Haha, right? I immediately went on instacart to figure out which local supermarket carries those. Going to grab a can on the next grocery run.
Does anyone else remember when it was Campbell’s Pork & Beans and Bush’s original and that was it? Now that aisle is a source of anxiety. “Am I buying the right beans I always used to buy?”
Van De Camp's is and always will be the best. It was cheap and is the taste of my childhood.
I remember Campbell's and Van Camps. I am so old.
I really needed a thorough baked bean evaluation and this is just what I was looking for. and with the bean guy himself???!! perfect.
I find it funny that he eats so many beans that he actually carries around Beano lol
Gwynedd is great! She seems so chill :) great video guys!
I need y'all to get some placemats or something for the conference table 😂

Yes! Jenkins BBQ in Jacksonville is the bomb! I’ve grown up on Jenkins and raised my kids on them. I love a good mustard based sauce.

Love the mom arm brakes
Put a dish towel or cloth if the same thickness over the heat marks and iron over the marks with no steam until the mark disappears. This really works
