My father passed away 11/30/18 and this Christmas was a difficult one for our family. I came across this song today and I truly felt peaceful listening to it. I don't know about you guys' opinion but this is what I see from the video. They celebrate God for their union. The first part talks of Jesus reassuring them that they are not alone. Please guys avoid always having a critical heart when seeing something for the first time. Remember that when you give to the poor you are praising God, same in their relationship they are praising him. It's their romance with Jesus at the center. At first, I thought this song was about the man in the relationship being your "peace" - which it is - but there is a deeper message. That 'him' is Him, is God, is Jesus. I feel both perspectives and that is why this song is my favourite. That is why it will be a wedding song.
This is a sure sign that There are people who come in your life to compliment, enhancing it to bring out your best self which is only a working of the Almighty. The opposite of that happens when we walk according our own understanding foolishly trapping ourselves in unprofitable relationships, settling for less and putting up with unnecessary drama.
