Near the Senthamangalam, 20 KM far away, Kollimalai was situated. Jesseman was more burdened about it. At that time one man was healed by his treatment. He told him, “Sir you are wanted to our mount area.” On this eager call Jesseman considered it as the invitation for the ministry for them and did the ministry. One priest seeing the conversion of those people got annoyed at him and began to give more troubles to Jesseman. The missionary society had given him a chance to continue his medical studies. Between the struggle to choose Kollimalai or medical studies for Doctor Degree, he dropped down the medical studies and carried on with a decision to do the ministry in Kollimalai mountain area.
