With the Factory Strider, one or two shots from the AMR will destroy each of it's chin guns. From there, you can just run under it and unload the AMR into its belly. It'll go down very quickly.
The bullet bounces off the ground when the angle is too "flat", If you shoot from higher up it'll explode on impact. it's like skipping a stone on water

Eruptor is fantastic. You can take the legs off devistators quickly... The for Eruptor, you gotta shoot the ground, legs or terrain near the enemy. Since it frags outwards. You can shoot a drop ship and kill 7 smaller enemies everytime. Leave the heavies for your AMR
Great video, I like running this setup. I think you could have used the Eruptor a lot more, can see you rely on the AMR normally. Many of your AMR fights you would have finished in 1 or 2 shots from the Eruptor. As well the drop ships, the Eruptor is amazing at killing most of this bots before the drop shooting up into the belly before they drop.
Nice vid. I really want to try this loadout as well as I love both weapons. On one hand I feel like the Eruptor and AMR have a bit too much overlap. It also shows a bit in this video as you mostly used the AMR + Redeemer. With the eruptor mostly being the fab destroyer :) On the other hand I don't think there are much better alternatives to pair with the AMR. Maybe Breaker or Scorcher to better tag of the small guys, but then you need to rely on strategems vs fabricators.
The fact he used the redeemer is a good sign. All equipment were useful for designated roles: nades for stun, AMR as primary, eruptor for fabs and groups, redeemer for small fry up close. I like the AMR as well, but sometimes it's hard to cover all the bases with it. There's basically no other load outs that let you bring the stun grenades.
@@jakemaxwell3810 True. I wasn't trying to play down the redeemer at all, it's amazing for those stray bot kills. In fact the more I think about the loadout the more I think it's quite solid. The AMR and Eruptor have a lot of overlap, but they do indeed excel at different things (explosive / AoE damage vs Accurate single target shots). I just think it can't handle getting swarmed too well as none of the weapons handle that very well.
i main eruptor with a machine gun or the light machine gun and stun granades. once you use this rifle all other weapons seem weak. specially when dealing with medium sized enemies which seem to be plenty of later on. but the fact that you can shot the ground and get rid of a ton of smaller enemies is cool too. obviously the only down side to this weapon is the fact that if the enemy gets too close you can blow yourself up . but that can be mitigated with explosive reisistant gear.
You can kill factory strider even with amr by shooting its yellow eye or underbelly as well as destroy its 2 machine guns Also once you are done with main objective patrols spawns go absolutely crazy
Yes! The Underbelly is an easy weakpoint of the strider! After destroying his two guns under the front for example with about six shoots with the dominator you can comfortably shoot one or two rounds with the dominator for example into that underbelly to strike him down.
@@broker231061"Easy" after you shoot out both miniguns and the turret, then approach while fighting all the devastators it spawns so you can get underneath it. Assuming there's no other bots around. Easy.
@broker231061 I find it's much more practical to just drop statagems on it and try to shoot out the miniguns. Getting close is way too risky while it has the miniguns, and it's rarely alone (and never for long with the devastator spawns). Getting under it is a death trap. Take it out from distance like every other bot.
I see lots of the time the enemies turn around and go the other way for no reason when he is right in front. When I play they just run towards me at full speed non-stop.
Kill the factory strider's machine guns with like 1-2 eruptor shots. Also great for staggering heavy devs to easy take out isolated ones without them firing back. You're bringing one of the most powerful primaries in the game but hardly ever use the first mag between resupply, might as well have been a liberator.
I like the Adjudicator though. At first I hated it, but I like how accurate it is for clicking small bot heads, also AMR. Can't find good use for Eruptor vs bots.

Yeah I know. AMR is probably my favorite gun for the bots so I use it way too much.

The bullet bounces on flat surfaces like cemented floors or stone ones.
There is a 2 min cool down for bot drops, but that is ignored in geological survey missions when you activate the survey

@nyth5167 Fair, but if you're surrounded by bots, you're probably dead regardless of your weapon. Unless you have stun grenades perhaps.

How could you call eagle so fast? Macro?
You can just memorize it and it becomes a second nature
Besides, eagle stratagems are pretty easy

I almost always run eagle airstrike and I'm honestly not confident on the key combo, but my hand knows it by palm.
