Yeah before summer would be smarter if at all possible. Fall release only sets you up for higher Christmas sales, but you could achieve this and then some by releasing before everyone's summer vacations.

even 5k is useless, most TVs and computer monitors can even properly process that much information, to actually see a difference you’d need a 65” with ultra fast refresh rate OLED and at a bare minimum 240Hz to really see the difference. if they give us 4k at 240fps that would be amazing
Need to stip focusing on higher resolution and focus on actually getting 4K to record constantly without over heating. Also. GoPro has the smaller sensor of the bunch which makes it the worst in low light situations.
I have a gopro 12 camera I would like the most in the new gopro 13 version to have an independent PAUSE video function when shooting an event, to have the ability to stop at a certain point and continue shooting from another place - without interrupting the entire recording. . . When will this feature be implemented?
GoPro should implement ability to add an additional lens for 360 viewing like the insta360 one rs. I really don’t want to have to buy a second GoPro or switch to insta 360
We’re not interested in 8K resolution-it's more of a sales gimmick than a practical feature, with file sizes that are just too large. What we really need is a solid upgrade to an already excellent action and vlogging camera.
I'm impressed by all these bad comments. Last year we didn't even really needed to buy the GoPro12 but in the end we did and it is impressive how far is better rather than the previous one. We didn't find anything yet which is better than GoPro. But please, let us know if you do!
i have a hero 7 black. while it may not have all the other fancy features these other cameras have, at least it's reliable and i can get storm footage!
They may not need 8k but it would add a lot of added extras when it came to stabilization as well as better editing. Bigger sensor would be even better when it comes to better color and shooting in low light.
Honest answer: VR While it's true your average person in no way owns an 8k television, phone screens aren't 8k, computer monitors/laptops aren't 8k, etc. However, 8K in VR looks fantastic.

And now on the 12 removed the gps...nice one...not going to buy more new cameras! I do use the 7 black a lot and enable the gps info on computer on quik software!

Insta ace pro has that feature. But editing might be difficult Becuase we generally remove 5 seconds of before and after so I prefer as it is before
