Awesome Vid! I've printed 3 of your recommendations already (toolbox, PMS and handle). The toolbox insert is my design and it's crazy seeing it in a video!
Great video! I bought the A1 mini without the AMS, now that is in sale for about 200€ + some accesories, it's going to be my first 3D printer too! You have a new suscriber here :D
i am being very careful when i scrape my prints, and my plates are looking good so far. i tried the plastic ones and i couldnt get inbetween as easily or as cleanly. But maybe i’ll have better luck next time. Thanks for the tips!
Amazing video. I'm waiting for my A1 Mini (without AMS) to arrive in a couple weeks. Would love to see more of your thoughts on what you like and don't like about the A1 mini. Also perhaps a bigninner friendly video to the bambu slicer? I'm having a lot of trouble with supports in there for a model I found online.
@@Lukis3DI didn’t get the ams, because I mainly print functional Parts. But I saved the money and if i need the ams later, ill buy it second hand. Needed the money for Filament
This Looks Really Cool! I will definitely print some of these for mine when it arrives! (Unfortunately I still have to wait until next year for it to arrive)
Hi, I wanted to make a fence for A1 bamboo because I have a room at 16°C and I had thought of making the walls with "non-woven fabric" (i.e. the fabric that is put on plants in winter). but without the front wall and the another 3 removable so that the machine can breathe but at the same time have a more or less acceptable temperature for printing. I think the electronics have no problems ps. I will only use pla and petg, what do you think?
Hey man, you need to do some work on the audio here. The pops are murder if you have headphones on. Grab a pop filter for your mic, keep it 6-8 inches from your mouth, and stay slightly off axis so you aren't blowing directly into the microphone.
I'm curious, I'm thinking of getting the AI Mini w/ AMS Lite but am curious on how much space it takes exactly when both are set up together. Can you by chance tell me the Width and Depth these two take together?
I must have been shafted with my A1 Mini purchase because the Allen wrenches that came with it are just awful. Just the bare "wire" keys, no handles. Very disappointing that Bambu doesn't offer the handle hex keys as a separate purchase in the store.
@@YaNeK92 yep, just the bare wire keys. Did a little searching and it looks like the handled keys were only included with the first orders after the A1 and Mini were released. Luckily I found a pattern on MakerWorld that will print some handles
I'm considering the A1or A1 mini for my first 3d printer. Tough decision. Great video. May I ask, what desk/table is that? It's really nice and looks like perfect work surface. Thank you
I have A1 mini and I don’t think almost any of these is necessary. For poop collector I use cardboard box. Scraper can be used, I’ve printed it, although on textured PEI better not to use it, besides there is no reason for it. Others unnecessarily, depends what spools you use, all brands I use just fit.

wow thats great man! and thank you for designing the insert, its such an awesome insert, i love it!
Awesome ideas! My mini combo is on route to me!! Can’t wait to show it off!! 😊

thank you for subscribing! Yeah the deal is amazing, you’ve definitely made the right decision! Any reason why you didnt get the AMS?
@@Lukis3D well, I didn't get the AMS because of its size and I don't think I will give it too much use
@@Lukis3Ddid you regret not getting the AMS? I'm thinking of getting the mini without AMS as well. Primarily due to size
@@wannerskogDone bulk research and Mini with AMS is definitely the go. Much more expensive to purchase it separately later. How did you go? :)
The prints look amazing. nice work.
thanks, im impressed how good this printer prints!
Please don't use a steel razor blade on a PEI sheet. Plastic ones work just as well and won't damage the surface.

same as me. bambu lab A1 without ams because more print functional item.

wow thats a long wait. But hang on in there!
cant wait to get printing again! they should have the new heatbeds shippnig soon i hope (thats what they keep promising so hopefully)
yes i’ve heard😊 hopefully you wont have to wait too long!

Great video thank you! but how do you move the printer when its connected to the ams? do you pick up the ams at the same time?
your welcome! I take off the tubes and the cable before i move the printer because i‘m not skilled enough to pick up both haha
Great job, will print some of these out for sure.
thanks you!
Lol fancy seeing you here bud! Shalom 😎🤙🏼
I'm curious, I'm thinking of getting the AI Mini w/ AMS Lite but am curious on how much space it takes exactly when both are set up together. Can you by chance tell me the Width and Depth these two take together?
hey man, sure, its about 39cm x 60 cm. height is about 49cm.

really? I got them with the plastic handles. Its interesting to know that they change that

Thanks. Just order a Mini. Why would you need 2 or 3 plates?
your welcome, have fun with your A1 Mini! you can get a smooh PEI plate and recently, BambuLab also released 3D effect plates.
How does the handle hold after half a year?
doing good so far! Although ive to say that i dont move the printer around that much

yes of course absolutely. But thanks for sharing your thoughts!
I don’t want a 💩y looking cardboard box on my printer table. I like to be neat, tidy, and aesthetically pleasing. 🤷🏻♂️
why keep the tie-wrap on the AMS?
i removed it already 😁
these are not upgrades, these are accessories bruh

What size screws did you use for the tool box?
i didnt, i just printed the pins. works great! links is in the description if u wanna check it out.

oh which printer would you recommend?

I’m guessing the AMS has some magical ability to dry the filament.

Thanks!
