That’d be so cool to meet my sponsor child that just graduated from the program someday.
I pray for this day. I’ve only been a sponsor for a week to 4 children and all I can think about is the day I have enough to meet my GOD-children. I cannot wait to hug them. And, see what fruit has grown on their tree due to my watering and seed.

Absolutely and encouragement to resist temptation and keep the walk with Jesus. Money helps a lot 😉. Not just your child but thier family and the community. Sacrifice a few monthly take aways an Litterally you're sending them enough money for a sibling to go to school too. Becuae they are worth it 💞

Why isnt there a way to skype or facebook with them ! Is it only letters ?
Andrew, thank you so much for raising this question! Sadly, this is something that we do not have the capability of doing right now. There are many factors going into this, and we are just not able to facilitate sponsor videos at the moment. Presently, sponsors and their sponsor children only communicate through letters. ~Mackenzie

I don't trust these other communications. They could be staged.

What happened with Alma and how did you release her from poverty?
That is a wonderful question! Alma was blessed with the opportunity to be part of our program here at Compassion International. Through sponsorship with this ministry, basic needs are fulfilled. These include access to healthy food and clean water, shelter, help with schooling, medical care, and among many other opportunities, she was given the chance to learn about Jesus. Through this sponsorship program, we aim to help these children become healthy, educated and empowered adults who will grow up and have the ability to make a difference in their community. -Shannon
How old does the sponsor have to be
Hey Anwesa! We don't have a minimum age requirement for being a sponsor. If you are under 18, we do urge you to talk to your parents about your desire to sponsor a child in Compassion's program so they can help you discern if the financial responsibility of sponsoring is feasible for you.
