I plan to do this ride from Hyak to Kittitas this coming summer. Thanks for the preview.

Thank you for sharing. We also plan to ride the trail this summer. Not sure how far though as I have heard the crushed rock is larger further east and more difficult to ride on.

Just curious, how long did it take to ride from Hyak to Cle Elum?

I don't remember how long it took to ride this section of the trail. I rode from Cedar Falls to Ellensburg that day it took about 8 hours to Ellensburg by myself except for this section my 13 year old daughter joined me so we were riding at her pace from Hyak to Cle Elum. But if you have fresh legs it doesn't take long at all. I've done it a few times now.
