Actually, my cousin had a 1998 Isuzu rodeo as her first car, she drove it in high school from 2002 through 2017! yeah, that car has been driven anywhere from Colorado to Utah even Las Vegas! I used to travel everywhere in that car when I was a little kid
Another awesome walk around I enjoyed this alot and I like the Honda crv and man that Toyota is totaled and it's crazy that it's totaled doesn't look like the damages was that bad to make the airbags deploy. Anyways thanks for sharing keep up the great work much love to ya have a good one take care god bless and I will see ya on the next one
Mike, the transmissions in the 2010 crv. Are good The ones that you have to worry about are like 2007 and back. I have a 13 Honda Pilot love it, love it, love it. Had it for almost 9 years.
The rear bumper on the Honda CR-V hasn't been torn off in a mishap, it's been taken off to investigate for damage behind it. I'll lay odds that damage to the boot/trunk floor and structure was found behind it and that's when insurance said thus far and no further. I'd check very carefully to make sure that all the fixings and parts that need to be removed to release the bumper are there. They should be being as it would have been done in a shop, but when the shop finds out that insurance isn't paying for the repairs and the car is going up the road to an auction then it will often be harvested for good parts to use on other vehicles. To me, the noise on starting the Honda sounds like the starter motor is sticking in the engaged position slightly. It's probably not a big problem, just pull it out, clean it and relubricate it and it will likely be fine for another few years.
In the UK, the Rodeo was sold as a Vauxhall Frontera, i had a 2 door sport one, and loved it.... quite basic, but did everything i wanted it to do. I still look through the ads to see if there are any stil about for sale....would have to be the 2 door one though...
My neighbour has a Izuzu Rodeo (Holden Jackaroo). In Australia the Rodeo was a ute, replaced by the Colorado. It's been parked for a few years as he is collecting old cars. His yard is turning into something like yours LOL. He also has a Ford Fairmont Ghia, Ford Fairlane, Dodge Nitro, Porsche 928, a boat, and an EV.
That Isuzu Rodeo looks like the Opel Frontera here in Germany. We had many mostly with manual Gearbox and the good reliable 2.8L Turbo diesel❤ But those cars are notorious for rust like every old opel 😢
That Honda crv rattle is the Vtec rattle! From lack of consistency in oil changes! It needs to have the VTEC filter changed in the timing chain area the Honda CRV transmission were very reliable
Actually they do these days as COVID made the waiting time for parts so long that it was easier and cheaper to total a vehicle than pay storage 👍🏻🏴
Hello Mike aka Monkey Wrench Mike. The 2010 Honda CRV is a good looking SUV with the rear bumper hanging off. You should put a bid on it Mike. The 2019 Toyota Sequoia is a good looking SUV. It needs two rims and tires and a passenger door.
Them Isuzu rodeos were fun to play in the mud an them Isuzu troopers were the laughing stalk of vehicles an they never were reliable and im ready for the Maserati content an thx Mr Mike
Okay. Where you and Randy live? + Those dust bowls at copart and IAA, all those engine compartments are going to be dirty. And the one thing that I haven't heard anybody mention still was lol. Always use spider webs as an indication that it's been setting a long time. Not true Mr. Mike. My friend, a spider can make a web in less than an hour in some cases but definitely not weeks
The Sequoia most likely took a massive hit to the front suspension if the airbags went off. Based on the condition of the vehicle, I doubt that it was routinely serviced.
Id be worried about the transmission too. Honda automatics are not very reliable. Worked at a dealership for a couple of years. Was swapping around a dozen a week at one point. Most were warranty repairs. I felt bad for the ones that weren't because I knew it should have been.
There’s a women who sleeps in one here in CT at homeless shelter and man the thing is SPOTLESS like show room spotless! Not a spec of rust! Which is shocking considering they rot out in rust belt states. Just like the sister Nissan pathfinder
My ex wife and myself bought a mint 2008 CRV. Was perfect. Low miles taken well care off. 3 months after buying it, she totaled it. The car saved her life. Luckily she was not badly hurt. Praise god.
And which will be broken far beyond any hope of repair long before it is paid off. Why not just give the manufacturer every penny you're ever going to have now and save the heartache?
Those Rodeo's are awesome, and bring back memories. Thanks for doing a video on it!
Interesting bit of video actually Mike awesome man!.👌👍
Love the Isuzus!!!!!
What’s up Mike I’m just tuned in man now man!.👌👍

I really liked those Isuzu Rodeos but sadly you don't see them anymore😥

Not a big gulp it's a QT fountain drink, lol. Love your channel more cars longer vidoe love them.
The Honda CRV has potential 😎😎👍👍
I had several Isuzu Troopers, all were diesel and manual transmission.

I’m just going to have a look myself 👍🏻🏴

I like the Honda CRV, Mike👍
Mike I enjoy more when you do work on the cars
You should do 5 vehicles!!

Vauxhall Frontera in the UK
I like to see all the old cars
Good video 😀

No VTEC in that CRV.
❤. My brand new car was a rodeo
One of the deans aides in my high school had one. She pronounced it Ro-day-oh as in Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills
I had a rodeo with a v-6 i got over 300,000 miles on my before it died.
Whoa how fast can i go i gotta catch that little red rodeo - Collin Raye
🎉 I miss the old days of fun music intros!! 😊
Hey Mike when are you going to get a jump pack like Randy?
Mike have u ever think about to visit the Mercedes Benz Museum in Stuttgart
Random thought, instead of "As dead as a doorknob" try, "This thing is deader than Corduroy"
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I love the LS-430.
Come on Mike, take the bull by the horns and grab the rodeo..😂
My 2007 CRV has 350,000+ miles and is still a daily driver.
I always chuckle when you say "all you need". There's always hidden damage. Insurance companies don't total cars because the bumper cover came off.
Actually they do these days as COVID made the waiting time for parts so long that it was easier and cheaper to total a vehicle than pay storage 👍🏻🏴

I had the amigo it give me so much trouble I was able to get of the deal and bought a Chevy tracker two door
❤️🥰👍🤙

Randy in byers and Mike in tulsa
🤣🤣😂 big problems ... small randy n mike ... haha!

Pdr dentless touch
After 🪒😂🎉😂😂
The CRV need a new timing chain and tensioner, hence the noise at cold start
I hope that wasn't your phone you left in the Honda CRV.
Better oil and coolant

For why don’t you carry a jump pack like Randy does?
Bike just refresh your memory that's a big q not a big gulp
Bike?
The CRV has damaged suspension on the left side
😄🥰😇hey 2025 ? 🌏🔥🌧🌧🌧🌧
There’s a women who sleeps in one here in CT at homeless shelter and man the thing is SPOTLESS like show room spotless! Not a spec of rust! Which is shocking considering they rot out in rust belt states. Just like the sister Nissan pathfinder
Remember the Isuzu Rodeo? Pepperidge Farm remembers
Shocking how that Honda CRV can be totaled over THAT easy FIX!
That Toyota suv looks like a rolling money pit. And how do you not think that a bit of suspension has occurred with that passenger side hit?
Funny. It was a Toyota Sequoia that was driven by a 16 yr old who made the left in front of my ex wife.
Mike tell us more bout ur ex wife.
Pull a Nancy Reagan and just say no to that Isuzu trying to be a Honda😂😂
My ex wife and myself bought a mint 2008 CRV. Was perfect. Low miles taken well care off. 3 months after buying it, she totaled it. The car saved her life. Luckily she was not badly hurt. Praise god.
The first generation Isuzu Rodeo's where junk not a real 4x4 SUV father had green one back in 03 always get stuck mud wet .
No Mike it’s not time for a rodeo. Time for a serious decently modern truck 😂 with screen, cameras and other things.
