These were the best sounding buses in London! In 2012, this specific type of Citaro should of been ordered for many more single decker routes on Stagecoach, Go-Ahead, Arriva, Metrobus, Abellio, RATP and Metroline.
These buses have are fully automatic not semi-automatic, the driver I just repeatedly pumping the throttle which makes the bus reach high revs (redlinning)
@@pyro-pdm6217 Yes, and Brazilian production has the ZF and Allison gearboxes with high-rpm power profile configuration, at minimum acceleration the gear shift occurs at 1900 revs, in full throttle at 2300, and calling kickdown at 2700)

RATP do have some though
Damn some crazy revs here and nice turbo too!
I miss driving these on route 227. They are beasts on the road
The 227 was way better with stagecoach London
My friends listen to Miley Cirus
I listen to this
The Goahead Mpire Lol
Awesome kickdown
The fact it redlines practically every gear, for a Euro 5 spec bus, wow!
It was being manipulated to hold gears but yes sounds awesome
We have these in Dublin on Airport shuttles but they are bendy versions, They are great when a driver uses kickdown on them!
Citaro-G Mate
Very nice! :D
Beautiful video like and subscribed from Czech Republic
Very good Nice sound and Nice video
is it nice to be in it when it rolls like this
Is the gearbox Zf Ecolife? And what about the engine?
It is a ZF Ecomat gearbox with a OM906hLA motor
MHZ Buses are you sure about the gearbox? 😕
I think the bus driver is playing with the gearbox selector
MHZ Buses I can't hear the zf noise... it sounds like a ZF Ecolife

Sounds like Hold Gears to me the way it revving very high
@@nate9457 It's actually very healthy for an engine to get ragged like this once in a while, keeps it firing on all cylinders so to speak.

Specs of this bus? (Euro4, EEV or Euro5)?
Euro 5

Ich bin mir nicht sicher ob man im englischen alter schwede sagt😂

Seems like brazilian O-500M, euro III manual version
Do brazilian busses have automatic gearbox with kickdown?

@@maaax1173 Redline is about 3000 RPM and the throttle governor is something like 2950
