Great looking dinghy Norm, it will really compliment Peggy Anne, very interesting to see the vacuum process and very good of Pete and Ross to share the process, looks like they will make a very nice tender and be particularly stable and very functional.
I love Peggy Anne. The best coastal cruiser. I think someone should be making 5 of those each year. I would buy one if the money was right. I would buy Peggy Anne, but someone is not finished with her yet. 😊
Hi Dude. Yep a lot going on being a new product. Web site is being built. 3.3m out of mould boat is going to be around 10k depending on options. The crew are working out pricing on smaller models now. 3.3m weight apx 70kg 15hp aboard. I'm getting a 3.6m model probably around 60kg 6hp outboard. If you were interested in the prototype (the one in the vid), they could offer a good deal. It's a 3.3m model. Looking forward to filming infusion of my boat next week. Thanks for the interest Dude.
Hi Norm, Great subject. I'm a little biased toward aluminium but appreciate when we work with the materials and processes we know. Outcome should be similar. Also interesting with regard to your friend looking for crew. Is there a process for peeps looking to crew around mid - northern east coast Australia? I'm a fairly robust young man like yourself. Any tips?
“comparing a mono hull sailing boat to peggy anne” . Hmmm - no deep side rails on that yacht, … was watching you dance around on the foredeck… with no lifejacket. no protection like peggy anne. We dont want to loose you Norm! … so u may want to consider a lifejacket, particularly when the sea state gets up.
Oh mate. Thanks for the concern, yep I guess in the habit of having bulwarks. Probably would have been a better option. Anyhow back on PA now and probably no more monos for me. Thanks for the comment.
Hi Dude. There is a Web page in the wind but.. Out of the moulds 3.3m Weight about 70kg 15hp outboard. Smaller models can be made. I am getting a 3.6m and that would be good for a 66hp aboard. They're getting prices to me soon, but thinking around 10k. Noice looking boat, probably start filming infusion process next week.
Sounds good. I was considering putting a davit crane on the bow and buying a 4.1m polycraft for a fishing boat. But that would be just as good & probably lighter The only downside to putting on the front is it block the view through the main deck helm and force me to always sit in the flybridge
Thank you Norm, Pete and Ross - great explanation of the Vac Bag process - Cheers
Thanks Dude. Looking forward to filming the build of my dinghy, next week.
Always the gentleman Norm 🎉
Nearly always mate
Great content Norm and fabulous looking dinghy
Yep. They are great. Looking forward to having one.
That was really interesting Norm.
Thanks Dude.
Good on em.
Thanks 👍

Yep looking forward to it too Aaron.
I’m in Gladstone marina, approximate costings would be good, and I’ll order one if suitable for my cat 👍
Hi Dude.
10k for the 3.3m depending on options.
Smaller models can be made to suit.

Yeah Dude. She's a great boat. I'm a bit worried about the que waiting for me to fall off the perch.
Another one here interested in pricing and possible order Norm! Let us know!

Nice one... will they be self draining?
No Not self draining. It adds a lot to weight with a second floor.
Whats the specs on the tender dude.
How heavy & long are they and what size outboard they take

Hi Norm, could I have contact details for pricing and time frame?
No probs mate. Give Peter a ring. [Name] Coram Pete

Looks like a free ad for a new tender

Or at least turn the volume down
Yep. Was a bit loud. Sorry Dudes. Thanks for letting me know.
