- The Queens Zoo is an 18-acre (7.3 ha) zoo located in Flushing Meadows-Corona Park in Queens, New York City. The zoo is part of an integrated system of four zoos and one aquarium managed by the Wildlife Conservation Society in partnership with the New York City Department of Parks and Recreation, and is accredited by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA).
Animals
The zoo is home to more than 75 species that are native to the Americas. It is the only one of the five zoos in New York City that exhibits Andean bears. The zoo is also home to: Pumas, California sea lions, coyotes, burrowing owls, Canadian lynxes, Southern pudús, thick-billed parrots, American alligators, Roosevelt elk, American bison, trumpeter swans, king vultures, pronghorns, sandhill cranes, bald eagles, great horned owls, Chacoan peccaries, a walk-through aviary, and a farm with a variety of domestic animals.

This is another great Zoo Tour, by the way the Bird inside the Parrot/Owl Aviary was actuallay a Bobwhite Quail. It was cool to see that most Bird Exhibits are open.

Cool! I’m a New Yorker, but have only made it to the Queen’s Zoo once while waiting to pick someone up at the airport nearby. I grew up going to the Bronx Zoo, but have been in years. I’m excited to see your coverage of the Prospect Park Zoo, because it’s the only NY City zoo that I haven’t been too. Maybe I’ll make it there someday! Best!
I visited both of those zoo's on thr same day. Both we're great facilities with a nice variety of animals. Queens zoo was bigger and better looking.

Yeah Sea Lions are fun animals. They can be very loud at times.

I'm so glad the zoo gift shops are now full of supplies. The shortages had played havoc on gift shops.
It's definitely more noticeable that the gift shops are fully stocked again.

I was wondering why she wasn't out in her habitat. The weather was certainly nice enough for her to be outside.
Have you ever done Western Michigan? John Ball in Grand Rapids and Binder Park in Battle Creek are both lovely.
I have not been yet, I went to Michigan's Adventure and the Detroit Zoo.

Yes, the area for the zoo was perfect. The water through parts of the zoo really adds to the natural look of the zoo.
Hi This looks like nice zoo the habitats looked very beautiful. This zoo kind of reminds me of ZooAmerica Because it has animals from North America and South America Although Zoo America has animals from only North America

I've never really looked at the prices, I'd guess around $20.00
I think I know why the Alligator wasn't out because on the map it said seasonal
It could be, the weather was certainly suitable for an alligator during my visit
