I also love their album, titled, That the way nature planned it. In the early years, with HDH, they couldn't go wrong, with such writing and producing talent.

The death of the last original member, Abdul Kareem "Duke" Fakir on July 22, allows us to see the WHOLE STORY. You're very short-sighted. Mr. Fakir has written the definitive book, telling the group's story. There are wonderful interviews Fakir has given; stunning library lectures, in Detroit and Britain, in the last two years. Fakir speaks of seeing a thirteen-year-old Levi Stubbs, singing, a genius even then. You should know better.

What silly parents he had! A Christian and Muslim marriage?! Anybody that knows anything about the 2 religions knows that they have different philosophies that are incompatible!
In what way? A muslim man is allowed to marry a woman from what the Quran mentions as "The people of the book" meaning Christians and Jews. Here, the book means the ORIGINAL scriptures of Moses and the ORIGINAL gospel teachings of Issa AS (christ). A lot in these scriptures or teachings have been distorted and altered by men who had no authority to do so, and this is what Islam is against. After the marriage, the muslim husband then has to bring the wife back to the original message. And that is how it works, no high road, no low road, just the middle path. ☘

Both are going to insist on raising their chjIbren under their prospective religious banner. Plus, if the husband's a practicing Muslim, it is not allowed for your chjIbren to raised as Christians. And, it's the same for a practicing Christian wife not to allow her chjIbren be raised muslim under her watch! THAT BEING THE FACTS OF THE MATTER, WHY MARRY?!
