this was the only moment I positioned my songs to match well.. "All our trouble seems to fade away.." I was stressing hard for the last game and just had that feeling that I wasn't going to make it then when this happened I just knew it was over and I was sure I'd get first
@@TheMajesticgamers that's a great play and one I thought about but I was unsure if it was considered exploitative so I decided not to do it and felt 1st was guaranteed anyway. Asked devs after the fact and they say it's allowed
Music was on point from the fourth fight onward. Like, the music was great before, but it was then that the music stopped being background noise, and then like two songs later it hits the intensity of "oh wow we're behind the cutoff right now" and only ramps up as the tension crescendos. I'm looking forward not just to the next phase of the tournament, but to how hype your video's going to be. Damn.
glad you appreciated that! I didn't spend too much time on the music selection this time, just made sure the ending songs were more hype since there was that feel of first or bust for the last game. I made sure the last song was timed to the lancelot kiss as well since that was probably the biggest moment of the tournament. "All our trouble seems to fade away" as the good boy appears xd
@@MrHuDat I did find some of the lance pickups suspect. I generally skip him unless I can all but guarantee completing the quest in 1-2 turns. Some of your pickups seemed more speculative to me.
Oh man! So many interesting situations. On 4.0 of your first game, you had the dual Arthur, but also 4 4 costs with a Masquerade ball. What made you stick with the Arthurs?
wanted to play conservatively for the first few games then play riskier later based on how my first placements went so I felt arthur was the safer play. Gives me good scaling on the ranged unit and the option into royals if I find the 3rd arthur.. didn't work out but it's definitely a close decision
yea it's a very powerful tool for sure.. before using it I'd take notes on my opponents boards/xp but something powerful it can do is show you everyone's health totals for every turn which is hard to take notes on. So if I have a decision to be greedy or get stronger I can see exactly how my opponent's last 3 fights went to help my decision. I often look at the health totals to see if anyone is losing 15+ health early on too which shows me there's a high roller in the lobby and playing for first is not a good idea anymore
While I understand your frustration in G4, I find it hilarious that you chose to highlight the Monte Carlo again and again. The Monte Carlo is telling you nothing here. It’s saying 1/8 chance to lose, which you yourself regularly say! About this specific board state! (Unbooted copycat)
More importantly good job getting through! There were some really great plays, especially to hop 2-3 players in the games that weren’t going well. GLHF!

Awesome Job!! I was yelling in the last match for you to grab trophy hunter, then I realized you had wand, which made it irrelevant :) GG
He could of chose TH and not chose the second hero until after the battle so he woulda been TH for the battle!

@@MrHuDat the music is always on point. Don't suppose you have a track list anywhere? Trying to find all of these has me becoming insane

Congrats! You definitely earned it even if you just squeaked into qualifying, some of those combats were unfortunate af!
It's not often I see my favorite build. I love using mermaid + horn, and you took it to the next level.
So we're not going to talk about how he casually TLKs into not 1, but 2 upgraded goodboys in his 6 games!?
Both lancelots too, lancelot always turns into good boy.. it is known.. I played lance in like 4 of 6 games he was truly MVP.

That little cursor dancing at the end, so adorb.
More seriously, congrats on the qualification and what an amazing run ! hope to play against you in day 2
prediction, hudat tries to force copycat every game
Good job! I love the treant transition plays in games 1 & 3, def made your board stronger and im not sure I would have seen it

Curious that there are no rules against 3rd party tools. The tracker seems to be a big advantage to have available... Thanks for the coverage!
