USA: wife-carrying competition

The city of Newry, Maine, has held the latest edition of the North American Wife Carrying Championship. Forty four couples competed in the competition which was the 17th edition this year. The winner, a local couple, will participate in the world championship in Finland next year and won 11 cases of beer and 665 US dollars....

you can carry as you wish, but estonian carry is most effective. Thought i seen alot people choose estonian carry style, they do it wrong, they still use they hands to hold on to wife legs, istead they should use hands to speed up they bodymovement. Thought estonian carry still gives you advantage as wife bodyweight will be spended constantly over your lower body most people dont take full advantage of theis style. But its not always about winning some people just want to have fun.
