- In this video we'll look at all mustang based cars in GTA games and compare them with their real life counterparts as well. As far as I know only 2 GTA titles have mustang based cars i.e. GTA IV and GTA V Online.

I really hope that they add Uranus to GTA V. I loved driving it around in GTA 4
in 2022 I still play GTA IV and some cars at actually better, but like the futo, it's the best cars in both of the two games

@@hoocares939 the old Vigero and Sultan 😍, the cars I still daily use in GTA Online, the Sultan is a freaking dragster and it handles too good for a 5 door sedan.
It's sucks we don't have a legit foxbody yet.
I want the foxbody too.
Now that I think of it, they should add it with a tuners part 2 update or something.
I'm always curious why people like the foxbody, is it because of cheap price and easy engine swaps?
@@_TrueDesire_ yea they make great drag cars irl, they’re super light weight and they have a huge following so finding parts for a build is easier. Great little cars that have a punch if built right
Would be glad to see particularly a 1985/1986 Mustang GT variant, which for me is a pinnacle of 3rd Gen Mustang design development, before switching to that boring "Aero" body with it's generic traffic car look.

4 things you need to know when you're driving a Ford Mustang:
1. Side walks are not made for cars
2. People are not speed bumps
3. Mach-E is an adopted cousin and Mustangs are not related in any way
4. Shelby bumpers and spoilers are not compatible with Ecoboost and V6 variants

the Rapid GT classic it's actually an Aston Martin Vantage, taking in mind it's Debauchee and that it's a Rapid GT

The Uranus is actually based on the Ford Sierra Escort Cosworth, infamous for the large spoiler on the back.

The body is the foxbody but some details/accesories (such as spoiler and headlights) are from the cosworth sierra
Can we also talk about the P-45 Nokota I think its called... well its inspired of a P-51 mustang so is it still in the list?

@@finck9226 actually originally it was named after the P51 Mustang, but the higher ups didn't like that because they felt a fighter aircraft namesake wouldn't appeal to the hipsters of the 60s, so the higher ups changed it to be named for the breed of horse, however one of the original designers (can't remember name of the top of my head, will check and get back to you) originally named it mustang after the P51

I heard they wanted to name it cougar or something with a running cougar or animal in grill then they settled for mustang with a horse emblem.
As an owner of 2006 mustang I absolutely have loved the cars my whole life.

Their main premise for GTA is making a parody of real life pop culture. And according to them they still think that people still hate/dislike the Foxbody Mustangs. But times have changed and they need to change too.
They should put the SN95 in it’s place tbh lmao
Rockstar at the beginning was like "Yeah we base our in game cars on real life cars, but we tweak them here and there to make them more unique"
And now they straight up just put an almost 1:1 replica of the real car but without the badges.

Dominator is a solid muscle car. Great all around stats. Won't outrun the super cars but puts up a fight.

The original Vapid Dominator in-game is heavily based off of the *2005-2009 Ford Mustang GT.*
A build you left out for the Dominator GTT, It is possible to make a close version of John Wicks Mustang, since the 69 Year Models all shared a similar body, but with altercations and changes, either way, It is possible, and I have done it too, right down to the Plate.

The Tampa is a mix of a maby a dart but mostly a 60's Mustang coupe like the Drift Tampa is of the Honnicorn which was on a Mustang coupe body. Also the tank sean wasnt in Fast Tokyo Drift, but in F&F 6 I think. And Ellinor was driven by Nick Cage
It’s worth noting the OG Dominator is based *specifically* on the 2004 Mustang GT-R concept. Nonetheless, the game came out in 2013 so it’s likely it was being modeled long after that.
I just noticed the mistake in 8:41 about the Eleanor driver. It should be Nicolas Cage. But other than that this video is very well made.

Agreed but my favorite mustang is the 67 Shelby followed by the new dark horse followed by 68/69
The dominators engine textures look a bit crunchier compared to the others, though I guess that's to be expected with it being in the game since launch
The cool thing about it is that the car is cheap asf, yet it's so f*cking fast
The Vapid GTX is a just ugly compared to the other Mustangs. Hopefully when they add the 2024 Mustang it will look identical

GTA V has every Mustang-based car except the Foxbody-based Uranus. I remember many people said that the Uranus is a Ford Sierra without looking at the overall design.

It's based on GTT but it looks closer to Saleen and also it's only thing closer to 6th gen mustang in GTA

I really see the Uranus as a Merkur XR4Ti or Sierra Cosworth more or less than a foxbody Mustang. The only resemblance is the wing windows.
The rapid GT classic looks like a Mustang and the older Aston Martin that looks like a mustang😂
This is how I rank the mustang generations between the 4th-7th
1. 7th gen mustang: While it has been recently unveiled, I say it’s favorite design, except for those tail lights.
2. 4th gen mustang (Pre-facelift): I originally liked the new edge models, but now the smoother pre new edge models are my favorite out of the 4th gen models.
3. 6 gen mustang (Facelift): Not everyone was a fan of the of the sharknose front end, but I find it a little more expressive then the pre-facelift model.
4. 4th gen mustang (new edge model): This model of the mustang what got me into cars in the first place, although I like the pre-facelift models a little more now.
5. Tied between the 5 gen mustang (2005-2009 models) and the 6 gen mustang (pre-facelift): The early 5th gen models are the ones I liked from the 5th gen models now, yet I feel like the 5th gen era as a whole was way too retro oriented for my taste now. As for the original 6 gen models, I find the a bit boring on the design aspect but I did like the fact they added a little euro flare to it .
6. 5th gen mustang (2010-2012 models): I’ll keep short here… ehh
7. 5th gen mustang (2013-2014 models): Let just say I do not care for the looks with this one.
well...It depends on person to person....I like 5th gen over 6th or 7th because it has that unconventional look for modern car while 6th, 7th looks a bit like ordinary cars.

The reason why the Rapid GT is similar to mustangs is because it’s based off the V8 Aston’s which took a lot of inspiration from the Mustang.
Karin futo is the closest looking car to a hatchback foxbody.

3 more Mustang should make the DLC debut that will complete the entire generation. The 1964 Mustang classic, the 1971 Mach 1, and the 1978 King Cobra. But even more you got the electric Mach E. But next year in 2024 the seventh Generation Mustang is coming too.

They should really bring back the fox body in gta 5 online and call it the Vapid Dominator FXB
Declasse Sabre... i mean Yes it could be a Chevrolet Chevelle but it also is a Mustang kinda so it would fit in the Placeholder category and i only played the PS3 Version so it always was an old Mustang to me (joke on me i didnt drove it anyways)
