It was a dev screwup that was online for about 12 hours, they forgot a decimal so you did around 5 quintillion damage a second on a new weapon. I went Hydra hunting the whole time and made billions, captured this clip because I thought it was funny.
It is now, but back then, FDev had a bugged release with the damage output of the modified Gauss cannon which let you do over 5 quintillion damage per second. This oneshot everything. Especially goid related
I think it was a coding error where they forgot tu put the . in between 10 ans 355/335 (I don’t remeber which one) so instead of being 10.355/10.335 damage it was 10355/10335 damage, a lot more than the Hydra’s health, but this is just what I heard
You must not follow in-game news very much. This was a weapon given out as a community goal reward and it had a glitched damage output for about 12 hours before it was hot-fixed. It did over 5 quintillion damage per second for the short period, allowing you to one shot anything.

Update 7 cause the damage on certain guns to bug and jump to crazy levels. It was hot-fixed within the day, but not before I tried this.
now is impossible. that was a bug and Frontier fixed it. that was the pre engineered burst gaus canon
