Just watching this back now. I can totally relate to your boredom when cleaning up. I too have been listening to interesting podcasts so I’m always adding value to my chores. I’m literally cleaning my kitchen whilst listening to you both right now! Thank you for bringing such big added value to my mundane chores! ❤️

Mark, you listen very intently without rushing in and it’s a skill that’s very valuable and one your daughters in particular will really benefit from.

I sometimes forget that Mark is predominantly around females, and just thought how if I might feel in his position. I really like him and can tell he always is open to listen and be authentic and one thing is for sure that his daughters will value a man that's willing to listen. That's a credit to him.

A really interesting and crucial discussion re-communication in all relationships, I think. So much food for thought and such a clear example of how healthy openness and dialogue as well as really listening to the other without impulsively jumping in can take place. I'm a bit impulsive too, jumping into and interrupting conversations because I feel so passionately and can't hold it in or am scared I'll forget to say sth. But that can cut off the other person and sabotage the di-alogue significantly! Thank you so much, Mark and Nadya, for sharing what you learned from Couples Counselling and for putting yourselves out there. I really feel you guys are like family and learn sth from every podcast or vlog you do. Really love and respect you both ❤

I have watched all your podcast and your other videos over the yrs. I am Nadia's age,a Nurse,a mother,Married. I marvel at how much you 2 live in your heads. I always feel like I need a drink( don't drink) and a Nap after listening to you 2.

As always very interesting. Watching your faces & expressions is fascinating I often wonder what you do straight after recording, do you ever feel hurt by each others comments?
I'm a widow now but can relate back to some of these points. The power of conversation is so important, the things I used to say inside my head but not out loud in case it started a row still stays with me....

Mark you listen and hear Nadia so well without interrupting, when it must be so hard not to! We can all talk a lot but listening is a real skill that’s learned. Also its a practical and one of the most powerful, outward displays of love we can show our partner.

I'm not in a relationship but when you talked about being sensitive etc it really did help Nads as my social worker (for my bipolar and PTSD) said I'm too sensitive last week so thank you, made me feel differently about being sensitive. Feel sorry for you mark, think nadia thinks she is the counselor. Ie pointing out all your fault when she talks over you, and you can see she's seathing when you started. Brave to do. But all i can say is poor Mark. And you deserve a medal.

Hi guys ! Very interesting. Mark you say having to repeat yourself to Nadia when Nadia’s deep in thought listening to her pod cast ...... Just a thought , I’m completely deaf in one ear and only have partial hearing in the other ...many times I appear to be ignoring my partner ( he’s sympathetic luckily ) Maybe turn your thoughts around when feeling stressed with Nadia and be thankful she can hear the podcast ?? Not sue I’m making sense here ? Nadia you could also tie your hair back so everyone in the house is also aware of your ear pods ? You both make so much sense ! Your chats are a wholesome watch into the realisation that even famous humans face the very same toils of life 💝

I always feel sorry for Mark on these, as he gets trampled when he makes a point. He is correct that it is Nadia's way or the highway. I also agree that not everyone wants to talk about ADHD every minute of the day, it consumes you. Hopefully, with the ADHD meds it will gradually change. Great Podcast all the same
