Dennis Dixon went from being literally a nobody to the heisman front runner in one season and would have won that and a national championship with the ducks had he not blown out his knee that 2007 season. He still got drafted to the stealers after all that and played as a backup. He was just as electrifying to watch as Lamar Jackson. 2007 was the year chip Kelly became the offensive coordinator for Oregon which is a big reason he had that breakout season.

Tebow gets #1. Cam #2. We are talking about two guys that made it look like they were seniors playing against JV every game. Tebow is king though. He did it consistently and won two championships and the heisman. Tebow is top 10 if not top 5 to ever even play college football. Not just QB. I’m talking all time. The rest on the list were great but they are debatable.

Cam was not the only one drafted off that team. Nick Fairley was 13th overall the same year Cam went 1.
