- This aquarium is one of my favorites to watch. It is amazing to see nature the God created up close. I really love how the pencil fish darts in and out of the plants. The Apistogramma is just like a water dog. It recognizes me and comes straight to the front of the aquarium. This is a very low maintenance aquarium and has been running for over a year. Thanks, and God bless.

beautifully high quality. i am extremely impressed with not only your jungle scape, but your video. Both are works of art.
Thank you alot
Cool setup, thx for inspiration!
Thanks you
Had to kill the sound WTF great fish tank !
Thank you
Any reason for the 40% weekly water change? Surely I'd imagine all your plants would keep the nitrates low. Tank looks awesome.
I do the 40% water change because I feed the fish heavy and doing a water change allows me to fertilize my plants with minimum algae. Now I have started feeding my fish every other day and that definitely helps out a lot. This aquarium has gone close to a month without a water change a couple of times and was just fine. Hope this helps God Bless.
Love it
Thanks
Beautiful tank! How much fluval stratum did you use? How deep is the substrate? Do you only keep one of the lights on or do you use both of them?
I used a 10 pound bag of Fluval stratum and a little bit of sand to cap most of it. In total depth of substrate is 1 inch to 1.5 inches in depth. I use one light now.
@@diontrespellerHow do you have the fern attached? Is it just resting on some wood? I love the idea of having boston fern in my aquarium, but no idea on how to do it properly
@@ryanhill6684 I use clip on Aquarium Lights that allow me rest the plant next to it. Some people use planters which can be similar to using Pothos in the aquarium. I make sure just the roots are in the water as well. Here is a vidoe that helped me. th-cam.com/video/-uyvfXdLpjs/w-d-xo.html
@@ryanhill6684 Also, this guy has a lot of knowledge on different houseplants in aquariums. I used knowledge from here as well. Hope this helps. th-cam.com/video/9Iwel51TMy0/w-d-xo.html
Do you have a setup video in your channel for this tank?
Hello, Thanks for watching. No I do not have a setup for this specific tank; but I can help answer any questions you might have. I can help walk you through it if you want.
