I think that Arch Manning gon' end up being one of the Greatest Quarterbacks in NFL history! Round the time dude retire from the game ,I could see him being a four/five time Superbowl Champion & breaking alot of Archie ,Eli & Peyton Manning NFL records!
He made a few mistakes. He’s got the athleticism like his father and grandfather and a gun like his uncles and the good and bad thing is he knows it. He had one play trying to scramble I screamed “KID DONT DO THAT!” Could’ve got hurt bad but trust and believe, he cleans that up in the next few years, he will be the prospect of all prospects at the qb position.
when he develops Texas will be the next juggernaut team since LSU's 2019 season. Maybe georgia will score a lucky win or two but they wont be as good as this team Whoever gets him in the nfl is probably getting a franchise quarterback
He's young, and this is a small sample size. Likes: Very quick release Real nice accuracy on intermediate throws. That first throw in the video was beautiful. Nice touch on corner fades (ala Eli) Things to keep in mind/concerns I've read where he can run like his Granddad, so just because we didn't see it in this video doesn't mean he can't run well. Long ball has way too much air under it. Either he was trying to be extra-accurate and not put any mustard on them, or he may not have the arm. This was against UL Monroe. Wasn't as if he needed to go through any progressions. Not his fault, and probably a great 1st game opponent, but we won't know how he'll react to stiffer competition until we see it.
Likely Arch Manning is going to get NFL draft pick if the Long Horns win NC this season, he looks like 4-5 years college qb and he’s mechanics are unbelievable and accuracy is superior like NFL experience qb already
If I’m a 5 star receiver recruit I’m begging Texas to take me this year. Arch could make them tbe number 1 receiver in tbe country and a heisman winner
later on -- Arch was tired -- remember, he's never played 4 quarters before -- it is tiring -- getting tired means you make mistakes -- his inexperience showed later -- but it is all correctable with more experience
Yep, those two interceptions were completely avoidable and will be exploited with a better defense. He has to get used to pressure and when to not force a play but he's got some game time to review which is great
1:29 It would be kind of of crazy if they played Tennessee later in the season if Arch would be starting (hypothetically) and they brought back the Archie Who thing
Clearly, Arch has more of his namesake grandpa Archie's and his dad Cooper's athleticism and speed, but with a quicker QB release than either his grandpa, or his uncles Eli and Peyton. So he might just be the best Manning yet. All are greats in their own right though.
I wouldn't doubt it if they let Arch start against Mississippi St and then let Ewers get some reps in the 2nd half to stay fresh for OU game 2 weeks later.
Let's not get ahead of ourselves. Against a good defense he wouldn't have completed half of his throws. He doesn't have command of the offense the way Quinn Ewers does. Ewers is a field general but Manning does have a cannon of an arm.

The first one was a weird play call that fooled no one, all his blockers went to the left and he went to the right where two defenders were barreling towards him and his receivers were well blanketed and he panic throwed. The second one was all his fault, the receiver was open for a second, but the window closed by the time he threw it.
