I disagree. I did convince her to leave the cult, but nothing really came of it. She was kind of implicitly fighting with her former allies off-screen in the epilogue. She was more trouble than she was worth. The most I can say for her is that she isn't Shadowheart. Killed her off, and Karlach approved. Nothing more needs to be said about that joke of a party member.

Not to mention, if you take the time to know her instead of just brushing her off as just another party member, she becomes arguably your most loyal companion even when non-romanced

I never hated her, I just didn't like her attitude and how mean she was. But honestly... I can see why she acted this way: she was terrified! She was abducted by her worst enemy, infested with their tadpole, and her existence was threatened, possibly ending in th worst way possible, and the ABSOLUTE (ba dum tss) worst way for a Githyanki to go out: spawning a new enemy of their kind
100%. Got so irritated with her in my first playthrough with my friend who never left her at camp. It took me playing on my own to actually learn more about her. Now she is one of my ride or die’s.
This song is absolutely amazing! The songtext is so damn good and really shows that you have a deep understanding of Lae'zel's character. Finally, some positive, accurate representation of Lae'zel, the community largely doesn't appreciate her nearly as much as she deserves.

Lae'zel appears to be tough and solid, but in her is a fragile heart. Hell, no matter which race you play, she wants you with her to be cleansed and even conversing with outsiders is looked down upon her culture, so even thinking about taking an outsider to a creche and be cleanes is like BEYOND anything her culture preaches. She is good natured, she doesn't just want to repay a favour, she is good.

I know I haven't given her the love she deserved, but hells, character design wize, she's a master piece. She is a githyanki with all the awkwardness of their race, with the violent and unmovable warrior behavior, but hells... Her hair is so... Beautiful and delicate somehow. I just love this so subtle detail that makes so much sense with who she truly is inside. Damn I love Bae'zel and BG3.
Honestly this one feels the most able to be pushed from the character yet the most tied to Lae'zel as a character in comparison to the rest of the Bardcores and their characters, Jonathan my good sir, you are an insanely amazing at writing music and this was my favorite of these recent Bardcore songs
