My videos get blocked a lot because i want to hear the entire song before I talk about it, and that doesn't go well with all artists, but the people responsible for Aussie and Kiwi music are by far the hardest ones to get away from... I don't care if my video is demonetised, it's when they block it completely it bothers me... Aussie music is very underrated and I Love the diversity 💖🤩
I class guy in the same status as John and jimmy a modern version have that special talent and a love for it Don't do it for the money it's in them it's how they express the way they fell and see life and world around them We also have alot of great female singers as well where pretty blessed here Partly by the isolation and a smaller population you need to be better than good to survive here and it also allows them to be less influenced by others running the industry as most have had to work hard and support themselves and whyntheir always very humble as they know what their audiences go through to earn a buck and appreciate they spend it on them why you see a close bonds between artists and audiences both have mutual respect why they can have a pretty normal life and not harassed to often and if someone approach them they'll have a chat and move on Mate don't be hard on yourself not many know about Aussie music 🎶 just location other side of the world why we appreciate people like you and other's play on your sites why you'll always get alot of Aussie support Cheers mate 🦘🇦🇺👍
Hey Didy , as usual awesome genuine on point reaction thank you! Guy also does this live in some of his concerts and he plays all parts at once , drums , keyboard and of course his amazing vocals. The ironic thing about this performance on this particular radio station is that in the early days they refused to play any Guy Sebastian songs because he had won the first Australian Idol and therefor wasn't a legit artist. That was in 2003 and he's still here unlike many of the Indi singers lol. Love your commentary on Guy’s performance. Guy is so talented and has that beautiful combination of tone and passion to make the lyrics cut you. I’m glad he learned to tame the runs - he initially “ran” everywhere on every note but now he’s learned when to give the right impact. Hadn’t heard this before so thanks for playing. Aussie music is terrific. You want to check out Delta Goodrem if you haven’t already - her song Heavy is brilliant.
Guy’s a really phenomenal singer/songwriter, one of the best, and I’m pleased to see him getting some worldwide recognition. Don’t feel bad Didy for just discovering Australian talent because I’m also discovering great artists like Angelina Jordan, Aurora, and Yebba watching reactions on TH-cam. My favourite new artist is Arlo Sim who was on The Voice Australia. He was only 18 but is a really unique talent. I hope you get around to him🥰
As well as being such a phenomenal artist/ songwriter he is a genuinely nice guy that is heavily involved in social issues, in fact he won The Order Of Australia in the Queens Honors list for his non profit foundation for domestic violence etc as well as for his contributions to the Arts.
Triple-J used to sneer at TV competition winners, didn't consider them 'real musicians'. Hence Guy's comment 'Who would have thought.' This was the first time he'd been on Triple-J and I'd bet they didn't know he was coming with Paces.
I have as of late been going down the Aussie rabbit hole. Just an added note they are all so handsome. In 1984 I went to Australia for my honeymoon. Not a place to go with so many handsome men.
