Tribute To Britt Allcroft

I had only just learned about the passing of Britt Allcroft earlier this morning, and it certainly was unexpected. I may have grown up watching Cartoon Network, the classic Boomerang shows, Looney Tunes and whatnot, but Thomas & Friends was what really defined my childhood, and my love for trains never wavered, whether it was through the Hogwarts Express, the Polar Express, the Santa Fe diesel, LEGOs, Bachmann, Lionel, etc. I have never felt ashamed of my love for Thomas, and I have no way to express my appreciation to Britt Allcroft who made it possible for Thomas to leave his sheds and go out on adventures for us on the television screen.
With that respect, to honor the legacy of both her and Wilbert Awdry, I have uploaded an updated version of "The Island Song" which was always my family's favorite song from the series. It really captured the dreams that we have and what it's like to be a part of Sodor with Thomas and all his friends.
Here's to you, Britt, and may you rest with a smile on your face and the realization of the impact you made to millions of children worldwide. It definitely did for me. :)
