    Thanks for sharing. I really like your original tunes and added them to my learn list, especially the 2nd one. And now I have a new craving for a guitar I didn't know existed. Arrgh.

    I saw one last year in an instrument store in Stockholm and have been thinking about it ever since. No distribution in the US, either. Best idea for a travel guitar I've seen so far.

    Yes, thats a great little guitar, great idea. Another guitar that can do a similar thing is my little Baby Taylor. It has the neck attached to the body by two screws and is easily taken off as long as you have a screwdriver with you. So it will also fit into a small bag.

    • @javiercisternasnajle
      @javiercisternasnajle 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah I also own a baby Taylor, but is not quite the same. Furch is a real guitar that will last a lifetime, which after having had many Taylors I can't say the same. The folding of the furch takes way less time than doing it on the Taylor, plus you can save the neck on the furch, which on a Taylor you can't

    • @jonnno2439
      @jonnno2439 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@javiercisternasnajle I agree. I have had three baby taylors , and (ok it was my fault), two of them came apart at the joint between the neck and the headstock. But I used the best body with a neck and headstock I already had, and have one good baby taylor now .

    Hi Mike, nice "Show & Tell" . I remember you used that lovely little Jane during the workshop last time @ KulturGUT Bechtolsheim. Sounded very good, especially for all the bluesy stuff. Greetz from the dog and the rest of the gang!

    Hi Michael,
    There are a couple of videos I've seen on the Little Jane in the last two weeks, which show it "in tune" straight out of the back pack. It made me wonder if it really did stay in tune.
    I also wondered how the neck to nut joint would last over time, or would it get sloppy.
    It's certainly an interesting concept, and seems very well made and a good sound.
    Guess we will have further updates.
    Regards Dennis

    • @MichaelFix
      @MichaelFix  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I think that would have been a fluke...I don't know any guitar strings that would go back to perfectly in tune after losing all their tension like that!

    Nice, a cool little guitar and the compact packaging can't be beaten. But if you can't get to Germany to buy a Little Jane, you could always come and make a Little Wing traveler at Brisbane Guitar Making School ;-)

    Headstock. I just bought it a month ago. Furch says it’s no big deal. $1600 guitar … I think it’s a big deal .

    What would ya compare this to baby Taylor or a baby Martin ?

    • @MichaelFix
      @MichaelFix  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I don't have either of those available for direct sound comparison, but I would say that the Furch has a pretty nice tone, lots of volume for its size, and folds up very small!

    • @javiercisternasnajle
      @javiercisternasnajle 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Those guitars are garbage compared to a furch, not hating, just facts, I have a baby Taylor and have had many Taylors minigs. This guitar is the real deal.

    Mr. Fix, That's great! Thank you for the review. Do you know if they make a classical nylon string version of this guitar? The only other company I'm aware of that makes a similar guitar is Journey Instruments - but this Furch seems even more compact and the sound is very good, too - plus you play to beat the band!

    • @MichaelFix
      @MichaelFix  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I don’t know about a nylon string version...perhaps contact the company directly.

      polityka nazw that piece is an excerpt from ‘The Balcony Bunch’ - an original I intend to do a full-length video of that tune.

    Always frustration because Every vidéos on this is almost all about thé smart système.
    What about thé sound and playability ???
    Also have to compare with Well established models such as Martin junior/ lx1, Taylor HS mini.

    • @MichaelFix
      @MichaelFix  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Vincent Delmas Playability is excellent, and the sound is very nice for a guitar of this size - I hope you get a good idea of the tone of the instrument from the video. It was recorded using stereo condenser mic’s

      @@MichaelFix thx for your caring. Searching for the best possible little guitar for guitar / sing stuff. Cause i'm very small ( i mean Prince Small lol ) size of the guitar matter.
      i know Taylor GS mini or Martin Dr junior are well established reference but i like the idea to have something different and not inferior in the same time.

    • @vincentdelmas2792
      @vincentdelmas2792 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      The " best " model i find are the little jane ( love the size and sobriety ) and the Breedlove prairie burst ( not sure of the exact name, it's a relatively new series parlor size i guess, maybe a little bit bigger, and with a cutaway wich i appreciate even it changes the harmony of design )

    • @javiercisternasnajle
      @javiercisternasnajle 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      This is way better quality than your Taylor and Martin. I have a baby Taylor and have had many gs mini, and this is in another planet in terms of wood quality and durability

      @@javiercisternasnajle i m a happy owner of the little jane since few months now. Sound and playability is good. Just have putted a lr baggs system to be able to plug it ( but it's not so satisfying this way for the moment )
      i tend to play acoustically.
      Have to say if you don't need the portabiliy, maybe you can try bigger sized guitar ( Furch, why not ) 'cause i'm feel they have to compromise for the compact size. cheers
