Really hate to admit this, but the studs on the bottom of the lower hull might be a dealbreaker for me. Maybe I will buy one of these anyway, so I can compare it with the 2019 Pudel panther.
For me its the relatively big gap under the gunmantle. Will probably wait for a good deal as well and still get it :p
That and the fact the MG port is sticking so far out up out of the upper plate. The last Panther literally didn’t have this issue so it feel like we’re regressing

With a lot of additional construction the panther looks really good. I have changed the entire front, have enlarged the driver- and radiooperator hatch, shortened the sideskirts and did little designwork here and there. It was fun and the final product was worth the effort.
This set looks really good i love the ammo storage under the turret i cant decide if i should buy this or the st Tiger 2 this set Is Amazing!
Tiger 2 is a beauty! I would buy the tiger because its older and will be taken off shelves long before the panther. Then again, you do you! Don’t take my words if you have your own reasons!
I've got both and would probably say they are both great sets. Both construction wise are very sturdy and I think if you have got the money go for both.

The model looks great, except the frontal MG, but it can be fixed pretty easy. You need a 1x2 tile, a 1x3 tile and a 1x6 or 1x5 reversed tile (those plates that are very thin). You remove the 1x1 from the front, the 1x2 and the 2x3 tiles and replace those with the pieces I've specified above. You place the 1x3 tile in the place where the 2x3 tile was, you place the mg next to it, underneath the tiles you place the reversed 1x5 or 1x6 tile and the 1x2 tile on it.
Another good way would be to replace the 4x3 tile, the 1x1 stud and the 1x2 tile with 1 stud with a 3x3 tile, a 1x2 tile and the 1x5 or 1x6 reversed tile. It would be pretty similar, but the MG would be placed in the same spot, but inside the armor, not on top of it.

Just built this one, by far the best Cobi pantger ever!
This is both a step forward and step back at the same time...
Forward in that it has a detailed engine bay, and overall better shaping...
Back in that the machine gun ball mount piece itself is not properly integrated into the front plate like on the last few versions, that the lower plate as that unsightly row of studs, and being the Ausf. G the shot trap is still present...
They went light years forward between their three Maus's, yet after what, 7, 8? Panthers there are still fundamental mistakes being made. (I have the very first panther they made (weak gun mounts included), the ball mount 2x2 plate is mounted the same way here, and that had been fixed for years only to creep back here)...
If they figured out a way to make the front end of the last WoT Pudel fit to this and take care of the shot trap then I'd be willing to finally buy another panther, but after so many versions it's hard to say honestly...
Not all G's had a chin mantlet?
They just took whatever turret they had. The G variant has alot more notable changes being made to the hull.
Shot trap? I thought that 1x6 plate on the mantle is supposed to represent the "block" that that ausf. g had to prevent shot traps

I have the previous polish resistance panther, and in some respects, the design is better than this one. Looking at you, lower front plate and exposed studs. Wtf? Also, the front machine gun is looks a bit off, protruding from the hull like that.

The front fenders & the upper glacis look a lil off, but otherwise an improvement on the earlier panthers cobi has made

You put that were produced 6000 units from 1943 and after that 260. I think you mean 260 Panther tanks and 6000 paks gun
Nope, 6000 Panther tanks of all kinds, ranging from the ausfühung D, A and G and only 600 of them were the ausfühung G

Yes, quite a few were built though these were nothing compared to the Shermans or Soviet T34s.

Danke danke, ich gebe mir Mühe 😉 Ist nicht immer einfach eine gesunde Mischung aus Geschwindigkeit und sanften Übergängen zu schaffen. Manche Steine sind echt mies zu stecken und man braucht 3 Hände zum halten. Solch holprige Stellen ärgern mich immer wieder, da sie sich auch im Schnitt nur mäßig korrigieren lassen.

@@shaunholmes9900 Cobi says that their models are intended for adult collectors and not primarily for children. Because Cobi, from its own point of view, produces models as in model building and not brick sets or even play sets. :)

First i just checked my boxes for all my kits under my bed and they all say 7+ age range (meaning for kids). why have mini figs and guns and quite a few limited edition have building, signs and other things, it so kids can play with them. Also why have cards for tanks and a online game if not for kids. Most of all cobi kits are for kids. But the military side may have a lot of adults collecting them. Cobi may say that but look at what they add and it for kids. Also rather have no turret baskets as it could make models lose alot of there strength in the hull area.

Secondly, if I were you, I would deal with the legal provisions that apply to building bricks in the EU, and I wouldn't make up any stories. Thanks. In any case, I don't give my children tanks to play with until they are old enough to understand it. With a 7-year-old, I doubt it very much, but you are welcome to do it however you want. I think that says it all.
@@polo86cfahrer If cobi was making for adults why would they add mini figs and other things like terrain and features. As far as i know cobi has never said the kits are just for adults as they just don't do tanks. Guess you need to look at there main site and see the cars, play sets, planes, tanks and ships. What provisions as almost all toys have a age rating to avoid choking hazards and age range, like lego does. Guess you think a 7 year old kid can't go to a tank museum and enjoy themselves and then build a kit that of a tank. Here a thing mu sister likes looking at King tigers and has always liked tanks taht in my room from when she was 6 years and up, so why you saying that cobi for adults when it clearly stated on box that a 7 year old can build them with a bit of adult help. Cobi is same as lego. New Cobi kits are for most part easy to build then older cobi kits. That plain facts for you, if you disagree that your opinion, but please look at facts that are on boxes and what included in box and how it actually built.

I've just been building my set and it's missing the little tube that attaches the barrel to the turret. How's that for a pain in the backside!
The frame of this model is too big and too hight. The shape are wrong. Bad model, the previous model is better.

As with every limited edition, you can only get the limited editions from Cobi itself. Unless you buy from a scalper on Ebay, which is completely overpriced.
Die 7,5er PaK sieht deutlich schöner aus als die aus dem Einzelset. Besonders die Schutzplatten und die Mündungsbremse. Tolles Video, da sieht man was man sich kaufen will.👍

Das einzige was meine Meinung nach fehlt, ist das Fahrer Visier auf der vorderen Panzerplatte.
Aber trotzdem schönes Modell und Nochmals danke.
Ohne dich hätte ich warcheinlich nicht mitbekommen, dass endlich ein Panther modell von Cobi erschienen ist, welches nicht in einem Kleinem Maßstab gebaut wurde!

Danke fürs vorstellen vom Set. Ja das Set polarisiert schon. Einerseits wurde viel verbessert, die Turmform ist nun wesentlich besser, das Heck mit den Staukästen, der Motorraum, die bedruckte Kommandantenkuppel ist toll, insgesamt der Detailgrad... Aber dann die Front im krassen Gegensatz. Das MG wie bei nem 2015er Set einfach draufgesetzt statt zu integrieren und dann der untere Teil der Wannenpanzerung nicht angewinkelt, gekrönt von der sichtbaren Reihe von Noppen. Das ist so 2015er Style, von nem 2022er Set hätte man da mehr Finesse erwartet. Zumal ja sämtliche ältere Panther soweit ich das gesehen habe, allesamt eine Noppenlose und vor allem angewinkelte Wannenpanzerung haben. Warum also dieser Rückschritt bei Cobi. Statt der flimsigen Schlauchbefestigung für 1, in Worten ein! Kettenglied am Turm hätte ich mir wie bei manch großem Panther statt dessen lieber 2 Ersatzlaufrollen am hinteren schrägen Teil vom Turm gewünscht. Es fehlt wohl echter Konkurrenzdruck, um Cobi wieder zu Höchstleistungen zu bewegen. P.S. Hast du den Churchill MK1 von Quan Guan gesehen, der seit kurzem verfügbar ist?
ja, der wird auch noch gebaut. Es sind auch noch 4 Sluban Sets unterwegs. Königstiger, IS2, T34 Wintertarnung und Abrams. Mal sehen, wie die sich so machen.
@@BrickMeet Ach was, Sluban hat noch mehr Militärsets. Kannte bisher nur das Panther/Jagdpanther Set. Da bin ich mal auf die ganzen Sets gespannt.

I think he means to say "Cobi".
To be honest though, I admit that I use the term "lego"(w/ lowercase "l") as a generic term for the two most predominant building block companies sets in my home, being both Lego and Cobi.
@@jonathangreenlees4772 most people do, but Lego doesn't like it and sues everybody who use this therm for non lego items.

I'm sure that someone can avoid being sued by simply using the term "lego" only when they are not going to be profiting off of unofficial building block sets that they slapped the name "lego" on.
Otherwise, I think that it is okay to use the term "lego" when you mean Cobi so long as you aren't profiting from the sale of said mislabeled sets or are not intentionally trying to mislead people.

Die Limited Editions gibt es ausschließlich bei Cobi selbst, die Standard Edition sollte dagegen problemlos bei Amazon zu haben sein oder jeder Händler für alternative Klemmbausteine führen.
Schön aber auch unverhältnismäßig teuer.
