Kobo is indeed one of three characters you could call a "facetank" who are designed to do the counterintuitive thing of diving headfirst into a crowd of enemies to really unlock the full potential of her kit.
Now, you don't do it without some precautions and prerequisites (such as defensive items and healing sources) but once you pull it off, it's really a unique and refreshing playstyle compared to the usual "hit 'em with your weapons".
The two other facetanks are Fubuki and Matsuri
37:10 i think the swapping from stamp actually reduced your aoe dmg/ clearing of enemies, cause the bomb stamp was working on your large hit box from main weapon due to the droplets hitting alot of enemies.

31:14 Now that you mention it, they do at least seem like viable branching ways to build Kobo. Kobo’s ultimate points more towards a speedy attacker, but her Tantrum skill would be more suited to a tank build.

Are you an achievement completionist? I know I’ve been (to a certain extent) nudging you along the achievement route, but I do want to know if that’s something you yourself are interested in doing (at least in HoloCure).
If so, as a follow-up, are you going to have a video where you find the (as the sign puts it) “Cute Girl Ahead”? I understand it might not be for everyone, but most people will agree that finding the cute girl is the hardest achievement in the game.
I guess I used all my luck to find one of the two collabs and it ran out by the end lol
I'll have to look back at the ninja headband, I don't remember if I've used it yet or not, so I'll have to refresh myself on how good it is maxed out.

8:05 i had the same thing happen during uni. and by the time i realised how bad of a route i was on and completely flunked my first exams , i tried to catch back up on the material i missed but i just ended up playing catch up, since all the new material was building on the foundation being learned in the first trimester of the year.
so eventually i gave up and realised i wasnt going to pass , so i quit uni and started working instead.
Why would something called a psycho ax combine with the weapon used by a character that scares the player as much as the targets?
Kobo is the versatile with her skills, she can buff dmg if you can avoid damage, but she also got heal and defensive skill when you got hit multiple times. Just like a kid, happy when she can avoid getting attacked and throw tantrum when she doesn't.

Ok, AMA questions:
1. You're progressing well through the roster - any plans once you finish trying all of them and assuming a new version isn't out yet?
2. Regarding collabs/super collabs, would you prefer if comments hint at them or tell you outright, or you'd rather explore and discover them yourself?
3. Are there any items/weapons/stamps etc that particularly stand out to you in terms of concept? Any one of them that you pretty much see and go "nope"?
4. Will you ever try the Rock Hard stamp and Promise tiara? (both were introduced in the latest version, personally I quite like them)
5. Annnd finally... go-to snack/meal when you're lazy or need a pick-me-up?
Can confirm. You can build Kobo as a tank. It's my usual build and its effective though it does feel like im missing out on something since it means praise is rarely active. Because of he contradictory skills she's actually not a character i play that often.
If you do go the tank route beetle becomes definitely worth it as it boost both cloud damage and tantrum damage, but if you're not procing tantrum a lot i can see where it could feel a little underwhelming since the clouds have limited range and kinda do their own thing the whole time. It can be hard to track how much work they're doing.
For ninja headband, i think it's big draw is that it's the only move speed booster with no drawbacks (energy drink drops your hp and piggy bank cuts your pur) and there definitely are speed baeed characters. Speed in general is a very useful stat, especially if playing on endless. when leveled up, the damage increase isn't bad either, though it does kind of call for you going for a multi-meelee weapon build. It is possible in the current update to get four melee collabs at the same time (crescent bardiche + legendary sausage + absolute wall + curse & dagger collab you havent seen yet), in which case the overall damage boost from it at max level would be quite good, especially if the main weapon is also melee
idk if you are interested about it or not, but have you ever considered either taking clip suggestions or just manually searching for some to randomly add into the video where you prehaps watch a few clips / lore about the character you are playing.

Your mistake was actually swapping the Bomb stamp with the Crit Up stamp, you lost a massive amount of damage. The Bomb stamp has a chance to trigger with each and all hits from the main weapon which means the clouds, the umbrella and each droplet you shoot from it has a chance to trigger it, and the droplets don't have a hit limit so they might create multiple explosions each. Also you already had +53% general crit chance with the super sake so the extra chance from the Crit Up stamp barely added to it.
yeah, Kobo is very diverse, i personally like to take a lot of tank items plus beetle to constantly trigger tantrum.

I think you are right on the body pillow, I know it does not count as hits when going for the hard mode no bullet damage achievement.
I think one of the supers you are missing is the BL book one, it's the newest, ill put the item at bottom in case you want to find it yourself. Im not sure the last one you are missing, id have to look at my game first.
For the knife I'm pretty sure it only has 2 collabs so if you want to know the other...

I recommend you re-read the items completely again before you delete them forever. Piki Piki Piman was a great item for the Special build you wanted to build early, and it also gave you more HP for Kobo's percentage healing. It may sound low but 200 HP that's +50% damage on specials and main weapon.
Has the ultimate melee weapon collab,
and melee base weapon,
on a map that requires good dodge speed.
Deletes Ninja Headband.

I don't really care for Ninja headband. Maybe it's just due to having all of the store upgrades but I don't really value a speed boost with a minor damage boost over survivability/bigger damage/haste boost.
Ninja Headband is still weak in terms of synergies the only reasons you'll get it is bumping hard on SPD but still it still on the bottom most item choice among the rest.
I think deleting Headband was ok, he was going for a Sustain/Special build, not quite a melee build. I would say Piki Piki Piman was the one he shouldn't have skipped.

Haven't watched the whole video yet, but yes AFAIK Body Pillow's shield works with Praise and Tantrum. Taking a shield hit won't drain Praise but will boost Tantrum.
This run seems like it came down to unfamiliarity with the character. But al least you unlocked a Dagger collab! And TBH when you picked the Tears over the Glowsticks and blocked the Idol Costume Super collab I died a little inside. 🤣
Fair point, not every character is going to click 100% my first time. It wouldnt be fun though, I don't think, if every build was incredibly clear on what the optimal picks are. I like that I get to work through the skill sets initially and then get a push in the right direction from everyone after the fact.
