- These days I've barely had time to play as I've been in parallel with projects that are demanding all my attention. But I have been able to prepare this little clip.
A twist in the use of equipment, from the eurorack to the keys. I share a different type of improvisation that I have done more times.
Playing live my Yamaha CP88, and using other controllers at the same time, managing layers and crossing melodies with the help of the sampler: Soma Cosmos, Arturia Keystep and Oxi one...

brilliant......I'm always a sucker for a piano with character................I love the way the digital smoke unexpectedly fills the frame.....the simultaneous sound and visuals of rain ......a nice composition.......both melancholy and hopeful....................love the quirkiness and a bit of a feeling of randomness in there too.....

Melancholy is an old acquaintance, and I think it comes easily with me with just little provocation.:)
In situations like this, is where I find that Soma Cosmos continues to give something different and completely unexpected. I recognize that just performing melodies with piano is much more difficult to follow without entering into the territory of chaos, but it is also true that with the mattresses and drones that can leave the strings becomes more benevolent.
Yes, always nice to have a degree of chance and opportunity within a session. Many times, even if the results aren't truly acceptable or useful, I often learn something, or get an idea which will be the seed for a new experiment........

I'm using two keyboards. The one I'm playing the most is the yamaha CP88 keyboard with felt and through wesaudio 1176 compressor before AD. The small one on my left is an Arturia Keystep pro black. Just working as a midi controller.

Which piano engine is that?
It sounds so different from the ones I have on my YC61
@@tricks-and-tips yes, but super compressed by the 1176 and with tons of saturation

I have to try that with my YC61, although that does unfortunately not have the felt piano.
