I was at this show, and I almost laid out on the floor when she went from Cold Play’s “Yellow” to “The Meaning”! Ugh...and to top it off, that break beat to rock it out at the end! I just LOVE her ❤️
She's a phenomenal talent. But she gives me tragic Billy Holiday vibes. Is that her persona just for on stage? There's no reason a voice like this shouldn't be more famous. Blows my mind how incredible her voice. 🎭🎶🎉
In interviews she’s alluded to have being burned by music industry types. So there’s an inherent sadness she carries knowing she could have “sold out” but chose to produce music on her own terms to stay in control of her vision and output.
I didn't get too far into the video not a minute without crying. She is phenomenal!! Her voice is so powerful she has to stand back from the mic and GIVE!!! I LOVE HER !!!
