At some point in my journey in life I always find myself back here to watch this performance. In my opinion this is THE BEST performance EVER on Amrerican Idol. This is probably one of the best music performances I've seen in my entire life. The emotion is so powerful.

No, not only was her music on her album not any good, but she is extremely unmarketable. A big part of record label revenues come from network TV appearances, and look at her, not only is she a big fat unattractive water buffalo, but her personality is extremely dull at the same time. As the only reason she got a record deal, in the first place, is because it was part of the prize for winning that rigged season of American Idol. As season 12 of American Idol was rigged so only a female contestant could win. Which is why all the male contestants were eliminated before the first female contestant was ever eliminated in that particular season. Personally, I feel like she could make it in the Christian Music industry where they don't care about looks and personality. Nonetheless, she already has a pretty cool life traveling the world and singing at various vacation resorts and on cruise ships all over the world. Indeed, she seems to love it.

The other one is a bit obscure, but for some reason, it touched me so deeply many years ago and is also astounding. I'm not sure how I heard it, as I am not Ukrainian, but it's on the Ukrainian version of the Voice Kids - Elina Ivaschenko, '1944'.
She won cause she was consistently good vocally. This was a good season....so some people had their moments but she always came on the stage and WOWED everyone. She has such a beautiful and clear voice.

This is the only season that I have watched from start to finish and I remember hoping she would win. I wish her career blossomed after this show. Christian Radtke Absolutely agree. I keep watching this because it feels so unique and fresh, and it draws me to it. Her runs I think include lots of half-notes and it just has this enchanting appeal. I mean, technically it's exceptional signing anyway, with a lovely arrangement, but I also felt what you were saying. There's just something really unique about the way she's singing that makes it so mesmerising and enchanting. Can't get enough!
