- Ohana is one of the most popular restaurants at Walt Disney World! It used to be one of my favorites, but recently it hadn’t been that good in my opinion. This visit to Ohana put it back on my radar though!

Glad to see they are allowing a take home container. The food waste that goes on in Disney parks gets on my nerves. Nice to know you can eat some favorites a la carte at the lounge.
The food waste is actually what fuels the busses across the parks and resorts! Pretty cool way to be eco-friendly and conservative on their part 😊

Thanks for this on time video Kristen. We're visiting in January I watched Nate's video on Ohana's, and decided I'll make us some reservations there. Your video verified that we should really enjoy the meal there.

This is our favorite restaurant and the Poly is one of our favorite resorts !! We eat here several times each trip.We agree you cannot go wrong with the bread pudding. The last time we were there they let us take our leftovers too.. The bowls are better. Thank you for taking us back. We enjoyed it. From one Disney fanatic to another, have a magical day sprinkled with pixie dust! 🙂

I went for the first time back in December and it was great! My favorite dish were the noodles and spicy peel-and-eat shrimp! I agree that the chicken and beef strips are just ok, and the desert is good.
Great video. I've never been to Ohana and I want to try it out but phewww that is a lot of food. May just have to eat a light breakfast, no lunch & save up for it. Now off to check out your other videos.
I saw you at the informer event wanted to say hi but you were in a hurry. Love your show! We ate Ohana on Sunday. Our steak experience was the same….and broccoli was raw crunchy but warm 😂
We haven’t been able to score a reservation for so long! Good to know that a waitlist is possible! Are there nights that are better than others? I’m sure there is. We have stayed at the Poly a couple times and you can order room service of this meal! They give you a crazy amount of food! Great video!
Yea, try the wait list! I would assume you have better luck with walk up Monday- Thursday, I would just recommend you get there close to they time they open for your best shot.

Was there in April - for the most part it was good but I also got over done steak - the seasoning was great but I couldn’t cut it with my knife - never thought of asking for more…..I just left disappointed :(. Enjoy your food videos Kristen - they are all spot on for my tastes!

We haven't been to Disney since 2014, but we ate at Ohana and we all loved it. Those wings and that bread pudding are the stars of the show. I wish they would've had take home containers when we dined there.
We love ohana. It's our go to. I only had the banana bread pudding once. I also had the pineapple bread pudding to and loved both but I can't remember which one we prefer. I have to do a side by side comparison.
So we went for the first time on vacation in January. Loved it. Told my son a couple weeks ago that I wanted to go back. Now mind you we live in New Orleans so it is a 12 hour drive. He got reservations for a Saturday in July. Yes we are driving there Friday have an early dinner Saturday and driving back home Sunday. It is going to be a long weekend. We really loved the food. Can't wait.
on day of arrival to Walt Disney World we go to England in Epcot to eat fish and chips. Food at Ohana looks yummy- will have to try it on our next trip.

Love your vlogs. Going in September and can't wait. I feel Ohana rushes the courses and they get cold. The bread pudding at Sebastians is better. I go to Kona Cafe and get the wings and potstickers appetizers and then bread pudding for dessert. The right amount if food for me.
I am not much of a meat eater so this is a better fit for me. We used to go to Ohana every time but only one time since covid. I may try Ohana again after this video since my husband loves meat. Keep up the good work.

yum!! we eat here almost every trip. I've totally drank the Ohana Kool-Aid, because give me ALL the noodles and pot stickers and charge me $60 for them! I don't even care, they're that good! 🤣🤣

I ate here in february and i thought the food was great. Happened to get seated before the fireworks started. Highly recommend. The bread pudding with the ice cream was the best.

Everything looked absolutely delicious!! I’ve never eaten here but this place will be a must on my next vacation. One question though….do you know if the shrimp are deveined ?

You can by Kona Cafe Joffrey’s coffee, I am not sure if it is 100% Kona or not.
I wanted to try this on our last trip, but read mixed reviews and didn’t think my littles would like the food😢
I think I’ll try to snag a res next time we’re there. I want to try those noodles!! Lol
They do have chicken nuggets, fries and Mac & cheese for kids. Not sure if it’s worth it at the price if they are only going to eat nuggets, but the option is there

My problem with Ohana, aside from the increasing price and decreasing portion sizes, is they do rush the courses which makes you reluctant to ask for seconds. I also think their noodles are extremely basic and while I don't eat steak, I have been told it is tough and fatty.

We went in 2021 and way too quick service but good food. The server was grumpy about letting us bring home our leftovers for some reason. But we enjoyed them on our last night! I agree with Kristin because I used to give them a run for their money with the skewers!
I think your server has the final say in to go boxes. They may not be able to give them if they think you're ordering extra food just to take it home. Not fully sure how that works though. Growing up, they didn't allow to go containers at all.
I wasn’t impressed with the meats at all, but loved everything else!! Noodles, wings, potstickers and desserts! So I too have been going to Kona Cafe or Tambu Lounge!
The food here looks delicious. Will they accommodate picky eaters? My daughter is 23 and she has to eat everything plain with no sauce or spices.

I miss the peanut dipping sauce theybused to give u with the wonton. The bread pudding isn't the same either. And the old chicken needs to be brought back ohana was way better before covid
Amd the steak is very chewy! Sad..they ruined this amazing meal

I agree with you Kristen, on the steak doneness! I like mine medium rare too! It’s more tender and melts in your mouth! Not too mention, it’s more nutritious!!

We stayed at Polynesian hotel very very recently. Ate there once, and not that impressed. The magic show was spot on, but the food was average.

honestly, with the ridiculous price for chicken wings today, I would tell them to bring skillets of wings and keep them coming!
Don't want to be a Debbie Downer but.....after 3 years we ate at Ohana and did not like it as much as when they had the skewers . 😢
That’s why I hadn’t been back! It’s still not as good as it used to be, but it is still very yummy

Sadly Ohana is the only Restaurant I got Food Poisoning at. Bad Shrimp 🍤. Never again. KONA all day for us.

Hate to break the news to you, but this restaurant definitely isn't the most popular anymore. Since the went the new menu it hasn't been the same. It's overpriced for what you get compared to many other restaurants.

Maybe im too honest too. I did laugh when your brother bit into the green chicken and it was all slimey. Its all good. ! Id like to see you show more in resort shops and parks. Merchandise. I lived in orlando in 82. I was in epcot on opening night. I visit when i can. I hate the diversity war thats going on in magic kingdom. I appteciayr that you did respond. I also appreciate that you keep your vlogs clean. I never see you falling over drunk. Anyway, hi. Im from Pittsburgh actually. You went to bucees and skipped the merchandise. Id like to see more of the places you visit and more merchandise. All we can do is imagine we are there. If you add more i think youll have more success

There is no way that container is a whole meal. This is as ridiculous as people saying they go to a quick service restaurant and share because it's so much. I can't name a single restaurant quick serve or table where that is true.
