    I bought this to play with my Nanny Kids , but I suck at understanding games by Reading directions. Thank you so much. We will have a lot of fun playing this today. Yesterday was Risk and that was traumatic.

    What if two players tie with creatures they beat. Do they each get 3 points? Like if you play a three player game and two tie. Or does those points cancel

    GREAT TUTORIAL!!!! I've only 2 questions:
    1) The 2 cards drawn thanks to Ladybug Card doesn't count for 9 cards hand limit?
    2) When I fail a capturing action, the card I must discard is one of that cards I used for capturing OR I can discard any card in my hand?
    THANK YOU!!!

    • @sotiriosnovatsis4529
      @sotiriosnovatsis4529 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      From what I understand, the 2 cards drawn from the Ladybug card do count towards the 9 card limit. If you ever go over 9 cards, even with a Ladybug card, you must discard to go back to 9.
      If you fail a capture attempt, the 1 ‘wound’ card you discard can be any card from your hand, not necessarily from the ones you just played during the capture attempt. Any card in your hand will suffice.

    Great tutorial. It isn't clear in the instructions if you can use more than one enhancement per capture. Could you clarify please.

    • @LearntoPlayGames
      @LearntoPlayGames  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for watching and for the question. I checked in the rules again and on the page it talks about capturing cards it states "announce which creature or enhancement you are trying to capture and show the cards you are using (including any enhancements)" and in the next paragraph it states "next compare the total on the dice you rolled (plus any enhancements you may have)" based on these statements I would say you can use any that you have that would apply to that capture. Hope this helps clear it up for you. Do you think it would be helpful to have a play through video for this game as well?

    There are two enchantment cards I don’t understand. Can you explain the Lucky Socks (1=2) and Bunch of Bananas (22=5)? What do they do and mean? I don’t see any explanation and they seem so out of place.

      Thanks for watching and for the question. I went through my copy of Dragonwood and did not find the cards you have questions on I believe those are from Dragonrealm but I can't locate my copy currently to verify that.

    When you have a enhancement you captured like add 1 point to any strike can you use this on all your turns when capturing thru a strike , I know thier is 2 enhancement cards that say use only once but what about the ones that don't say that please answer

    • @sotiriosnovatsis4529
      @sotiriosnovatsis4529 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      If the enhancement card doesn’t specifically say “use only once”, then the power on that card can be used on every capture attempt for the rest of the game.

    • @LearntoPlayGames
      @LearntoPlayGames  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes you can use more than one enhancement to capture a creature. Thanks for watching and for the question;)

      @Joey Cutcher IV
      - I know this is an old post, but I’ll try to answer.
      What is Dragon Spell?
      Dragon Spell is listed under “Variants” in the rules of play. It states: If you collect three Adventurer cards that are both all the same color and consecutive numbers (example: red 3, red 4, red 5), you may play them to earn 2 dice (instead of 3). If you roll a 6 or higher, you defeat the dragon.
      Why use Dragon Spell?
      If a player has the 3 cards of the same color in numerical order, they have a decent chance of rolling 6+ on two dice. Without Dragon Spell, a player will normally spend anywhere between 4 to 6 cards in an attempt to capture a dragon with similar odds.

    Do Enhancement cards count towards your 9 total cards you can have at one time?

    • @LearntoPlayGames
      @LearntoPlayGames  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks for watching and for the question. So in the rules under reloading there is a note that states "there is a 9 card hand limit, excluding any enhancements" so no they do not count toward your hand limit;)
