Dermatologists say not to use metal spoons or bowls for this kinda clays like bentonite and kaolin, instead use wooden or glass utensils

I experienced the same. But the good thing is i was able to identify it was gram flour for me that was causing the breakout. I switched back to using multani mitti with a bit of turmeric. Using this had better results. So I would suggest you to identify what is working for u n what not and tweak all these methods as per your skin.:)
plz don't use gram flr.. just use multani mitti and cucumber juice face pack... just try it.. will help you...
