- The Kampong finally decided to have some fun at St.John's Island during the long weekend. A very crowded day I must say.
This episode consist of two separate session. Focusing mainly on Ajing, Eging and our first attempt on catching mullet at St.John.

Hey bro, I just got a new reel for ajing, spooled it with aji no ito nightblue 3lbs. I'm aware that polyester lines tend to undo themselves and tangle in the first few casts due to the high memory. How can I season my line to not do that?
For Aji No Ito, I don't really experience high memory. You can season your line by not whipping out your Jighead. Start by gentle cast and drops instead.

Hey aj, is there a difference between 34 pinky and aji no ito nightblue? i want to get aji no ito nightblue 3lbs/3.5lbs because i prefer slightly heavier line since i also do boat fishing but there are many people using 34 pinky so i’m not sure if there’s an advantage to 34 pinky or what
Hi there, its more of a personal prefference. For myself, I like Aji No Ito Nightblue because of the sink rate, strength, good stretch and Handling (minimal bird nest). Most of my kaki uses Aji No Ito as well. For my most recent boat trip, I even use 1.85lb👌🏼 Do check out my video on that 😁
Hey aj, for beginner, is a solid tip ajing rod necessary? or can it be tubular tip?
Depends on what fish you want to target. I started with tubular and I still use them. If I want to catch Bigeye scad, which require a sensitive rod, then I will use my solid tip.
