Great video :D Some ideas i had : 1)mushrooms dont take as long to bake/cook as onions and carrots so maybe you could throw them in a bit later so they still have some texture :D 2) normally its one cube of bouillon for each liter of water .. so in a 1,6l pot throwing in 3 cubes sounds a bit like overkill .. especially when you've thrown in a lot of salt already :p 3) you could have thrown in a beer, prune jelly .. just to give the dish some more taste to it :D I love outdoor cooking as well :D But hey , if you like what you eat ... skip these points !! Taste is personal :D

@@ScottishWanderer thanks, great video! What did you do with the plastic clips on the zebra Billy? Did they just melt off?, or did you remove them? You said at the start you were going to replace with metal clips, but I couldn't see any. Looks like they weren't needed anyway!! 🤔

Question..was that an official stew dance or is the spam dance generic for any outdoor meal...LOL!!!! I love your tepee tent..what is it please..i would love to get one..keep up the great videos!! the video with olly was just for youtube when new people come to my channel thats the first video people see do you think i should add it to the start of every video as a intro
Only if the intro is short. Maybe 5 seconds of you and Olly walking to the camera, 5 seconds of you screaming into the wind, 5 seconds of one or two foods flashed on the screen cooking on the fire, 5 seconds of you and Olly dancing. Intros are nice if they're short, because you have to sit through them when you watch every video. The long ones usually get skipped over after seeing it several times. Short and sweet is the answser.
After thinking about it, 2 or 3 seconds for each shot above would probably be better, rather than five seconds, so about 10 to 12 seconds total for into. It would be nice.

Beef stew is my favourite - I add a tin of oxtail soup to mine and use a few less beef stock cubes - it is yum !! As ever a great video. ATB Paul.

cast iron is great little heavy but great zebra billys are great i have them all 10,12,14,16 great billy cans and good price as well
