Bought one early in 2023 before using it on a 5 day hike in Mt Remarkable NP. here in South Australia then on a wet week walking a section of the Heysen Trail. All a precursor for 28 days hiking in Norway during the European summer. This included being stuck for three days when "Hans" hit Southern Norway which bought the highest rainfall figures for more than 100 years. Did not get a single drop of moisture inside bar a little condensation on occasions. Can't find anything to criticise the tent on. Very easy to pitch in a hurry. It's not a Hilleberg (I have a Suolo) but it will withstand plenty. Bought mine from Varuste in Finland. With shipping it was $A 720-730...Buy with confidence.
Foxfeet! And the front red pole is 10mm, the back is 9mm. I have the 3 man version and I love it, just bought the mesh inner so I can use it all year round
They are a pretty good tent and like a palace for one person, especially a shorty like me 😁 I got mine just before Christmas and have had problems with the seams each side of the vents leaking, have you had any leaks? I'm happy with every other aspect of the tent and I'm hoping to get it sorted shortly.
Oh really?! No leaks yet but now you’ve said that I might anticipate it and seam seal those areas just incase 👍🏻 Hope you get it sorted buddy and thanks for watching!
OEX tents can’t be placed in the same category as Fjall Raven tents in my opinion. As I mention in the video due to the material it looks flappy but inside is still FC. This tent can withstand 50/60mph winds with ease. An OEX would snap
I have a custom footprint for the AB2, you don’t get that with the purchase of sites for the tent. I’d probably agree to £500 for it with the footprint included and postage

Your tent has been around the block it seems! Glad you feel the same way about the A2 👍🏻
Looking to upsize my abisko lite 1. Withstood storm Lillian last night, but was quite cramped being confined to barracks.
@@jasonphillips8302 Safe as houses aren’t they the abiskos 🙌🏻
I couldn’t personally use the abisko lite 1 (I’m too big) 🤣🤣
Top Man, I think I'll get one, Cheers mate
Great choice 👍🏻
Just got 1 had it out in 45 mph gusts and heavy rain the tent was great stood up to weather .loads room easy pitching .
Amazing isn’t it! I’m going out tonight in it, can’t wait for a cracking sleep

Thankyou for a honest review. A palace of a tent. Take care buddy
Thankyou for watching 🙌🏻
How tall are you? I'm 6'4 and wondering about the indoor dimensions
6’2 I am 👍🏻 I can sit up fully straight, pack away inside the tent, get changed in the tent with ease - it’s amazing for space
Mmmm, oex rakoon looks not as flappy... Is it any better?

When I edited the video I realised 😱 but it was too late 🤣
Thanks for watching my friend!
How much?😅

Glad you noticed 🤣
Your sleeping bag might leak feathers...just imagine the pain the birds went through
