This is my opinion on daws in the quality chain department:
Experience tops everything and then follows:
1- environment
2- speakers
3- processing (if all digital, plugins selection and proper usage)
4- converters (sound cards, etc)
5- daws (nowadays ALL OF THEM do their job brilliantly)

Pro Tools HD A/D Converters are really good.
" They were cutting edge EDM and Rap kinda stuff, " Let me tell you all something, unless it's coming out in 1988/89 then there is zero cutting edge about pairing those two together. It hasn't been done well since Snap! This syrupy, drug-addled mess that certain singers and rappers are spewing out after a night on synthetic highs shouldn't even make it off the cutting room floor. I'm mixing my metaphors here but you know what I mean.
Herb's shirt choices baffle me. Aren't you guys big enough to get a sensible stylist person there, to prep ya'll up? I don't mean no extravagance, but the ill-fitting polo's, that bear the most horrendous unflattering colors ever known to man, that we see Herb wear from time and time again has just got to stop. I mean he's lit like christmas tree.

Certainly ......but that's another argument and please believe me, Pro Tools HD A/D Converters are 8.5 - 9 but not a perfect 10. You can mod a 16 out rack for about $2,500 and that will be out of this planet
