I'm from Trinidad and Tobago and had a High Court. However, the attorneys that I retained didn't do what they had to do and my claim negligence was dismiss because of the two attorneys. I took the two attorneys to the Disciplinary Committee and they both was found guilty of professional conduct by the Committee. Both attorneys had legal representation including SC. I'm layperson on legal matters and still won. the really disgraceful thing is I going to take 3 more attorneys before the Disciplinary Committee for conducts relating to the same High Court that was dismiss. I lost everything.

Denial is a defense mechanism that involves refusing to acknowledge a painful or difficult reality.

Haha the old “empathy” card... sometimes, people think that being replaced by technology, means being replaced by robots, but machines not only imitate humans, they also empower them. Robots are the least of your worries, digital networks could be even more threatening to lawyers.

Ok. Machine also can tell you that there are 50.6k cases similar to your case, don’t worry everything is gonna be alright, here is what you should do now, and what a 100 way you can take next. Voila...

I agree with the comment below, quit trying to convince kids law profession is not threatened by AI. Go look into quantum computers and where it’s headed. If the field is so promising, you’d be practicing with some big law firm making more than what BYU is paying you judging by that suit you’re wearing.

Working as a law professor may pay less than a big law job, but it is infinitely more competitive, desirable, and rewarding than a career in big law. BYU Law is a top 25 law school, meaning that its tenured professor track positions are among the most difficult to secure in the nation. This means that he probably came from a background in big law where he was a widely published academic.
