    Question: Say Kamala Harris wins the election. What would happen if Biden resigns or dies before the election, and the House refused to confirm now-President Harris' VP pick? Who becomes acting VP in the interim? Does Speaker of the House become next in line? Who would preside of the certification of the election? Who is the pro tempore of the Senate in that situation?

    Robots replacing lawyers is a topic that has intrigued many. Let's explore different perspectives on this matter: 1. Professor Michael Livermore's Insights: - Professor Michael Livermore, a computational legal scholar, believes that while artificial intelligence (AI) and natural language processing have significantly improved legal research and document retrieval, the process of making law remains inherently human. - He acknowledges that computers might be able to write legal opinions in the future, but they cannot engage in political discourse or consider constitutional rights like humans can. - Livermore's work aims to enhance legal language understanding and prediction of case outcomes using empirical analysis of legal texts². 2. Automation as an Aid, Not Replacement: - Automation, including AI, can assist lawyers by streamlining tasks, improving efficiency, and providing data-driven insights. - However, it is unlikely that robots will entirely replace lawyers. The human element-such as empathy, judgment, and nuanced understanding-is essential in legal practice. In summary, while technology continues to transform legal practice, the role of lawyers remains indispensable. Robots may augment legal work, but the uniquely human aspects of the profession are irreplaceable. It’s hard to imagine a place to study law, where someone is not in debt is amazing especially given the fact that lawyers in general have such a huge debt load and burden when they graduate. It’s such a relief to know that people don’t have to be slaves to debt and can focus on what is important which is equity and prudence.

    I'm from Trinidad and Tobago and had a High Court. However, the attorneys that I retained didn't do what they had to do and my claim negligence was dismiss because of the two attorneys. I took the two attorneys to the Disciplinary Committee and they both was found guilty of professional conduct by the Committee. Both attorneys had legal representation including SC. I'm layperson on legal matters and still won. the really disgraceful thing is I going to take 3 more attorneys before the Disciplinary Committee for conducts relating to the same High Court that was dismiss. I lost everything.

    The irony. These ignoramuses have no idea J. Reuben Clark, the patron of this law school deliberately chose to deny assistance to Jewish converts to the Mormon Church asking for assistance to immigrate to the US. He refused to help guided by his anti-Jewish prejudice! And they shoot a video about this! Completely out of touch!

  • @hobgoblin1976
    @hobgoblin1976 ปีที่แล้ว

    How you should not: that law school is named after a man who hated Jews and believe antisemitic propaganda. What is more: it is a substantiated fact that he denied assistance to Jewish converts to Mormonism who implored him to use his influence to assist them in escaping Nazi Germany. Enough reason to look elsewhere for a moral person.

  • @hobgoblin1976
    @hobgoblin1976 ปีที่แล้ว

    Fun fact about J. Reuben Clark! He was an anti-Semite. He had the opportunity to help Jewish converts to Mormonism escape Nazi Germany and chose to leave them on their own. To name that school after him is a disgrace. But hey! That joke of a pseudouniversity is named after an utter racist, so it makes sense!

  • @hobgoblin1976
    @hobgoblin1976 ปีที่แล้ว

    I will tell you why not. This school is named after a callous antisemite who believed in the Protocol of the Elders of Zion and denied assistance to Jewish converts to his church trying to obtain safe passage to leave Nazi Germany for the US. Enough reason to never set foot in that building.

  • @hobgoblin1976
    @hobgoblin1976 ปีที่แล้ว

    You forgot to tell us how your hero Mr. Clark was a believer in the veracity of the Protocol of the Elders of Zion and a true antisemite. Read about his behaviour in WWII with the Mormon converts of Jewish origin in Germany! You will learn a thing or two!
