I just finished watching the video with the chunky glitter. I didn't think it could get any prettier. WOW! I'M going to combine the two ideas. You are AMAZING
That is beautiful. I love that you told us about the metal tape to edge. I didnt hear anyone else use that. Had to sub with the all bell. Such a beautiful pc. Of art. Tfs. Hugs ❤️🇨🇦
My supplies finally got here. I started some coasters( something super simple, so that I can get a feel for resin and color). Well my phone level said I was level, but my pour said something different. I’ll know tomorrow how I did. I want to do a sea scape so badly, but I don’t want to waste any supplies while I figure it all out. Keep the videos coming.
Cynthia Fuller coasters are a great way to practice!! I still love doing tiles because it’s just fun and no stress! I’d love to see your projects!! Seascape next 😉
Tammy wow, this is soooooo gorgeous! I just love your style! You have so much talent! I’ve made up my mind I most certainly am going try! Glitter oh yeah! You’re rocking it! Now to look at the description box! I hope you have a lovely day! 🥰💐🌹
Anna Hurley you can just let the resin cure and peel it out or put a little popsicle stick in against side and let cure then pull it out or flip cup over and let it cure that way. You can also wipe them out with an alcohol wipe while still wet. Hope this helps!
Hi Tam, I loved your resin artworks. But I found the resins a little too expensive to buy. Any tips about where to find affordable resins and other belongings, please? Thanks. Shah
Good news hello and thank you! Resin isn’t the cheapest artwork. If you haven’t already, try Amazon. But I only list ones I have used with success so I can’t speak much for other brands. But there are a lot of supplies on Amazon or try local online arts and crafts supplies. Thanks for watching!
Dear Tams. First of all, congrats for your great job. I'm really pretty new in this kind of art and i have some doubts: 1) To use resin you need to use a protection mask for breath? 2) When you comment about your air pistol gun, i want to know if i need to use small or high temperatures? 3) Can i mixed with the resin a regular acrylic ink or only uses an specific to resin 4) In your presentation, i can see sometimes, you need to wait the resin to be dry before start a new step. It's correct? How long will be this time? 5) you use the little torch only to end the air bubbles, or you can use to a different effect the air pistol gun cannot to do. My apologies for my english (I'm a Brazilian guy) and too many doubts too. Regards and thanks a lot :)
Virgilio Juliatto thank you! I use different types of resin and although some say you don’t need a mask, I wear one anyway because I am super sensitive and when you work the resin with heat a lot like in these seascapes they put out a lot of fumes. So I always recommend it. The heat gun I use is variable and I use the higher end of the heat most of the time. But be careful as it will scorch your resin if you leave it in one place too long or over do it. You can mix resin with acrylics, but I prefer resin pigments because they act better, mix better and retain color better. Also, depending on the acrylic I’ve noticed my resin can cure much faster and shorten my working time. The torch is great for popping bubbles and I also use it for creating cells. Both the heat gun and torch are by my side and ready to go. If you watch my other seascape videos you might get more details from different ones 😉 I think it’s best to just try a small piece and practice mixing and experimenting with your pigments etc. before you know it, you’ll be a pro!
What temperature do you have you heat gun on please. I did have one, but it only lasted a month, but can’t get use to other heat guns! I love your work
Hi Gayle, thank you for stopping by! I wish I could tell you the exact temp, but I just adjust it as I’m going with the dial on the back depending on what I’m trying to accomplish! When creating cells and waves I’ll turn the dial up 3/4 of the way so it’s a higher heat output and when I’m moving the blues around I keep it lower. Sorry I can’t be more specific but I love this heat gun because it’s so easy to adjust the heat as you work.
@@TamsCreativeCorner thanks very much for the reply & advice. I loved mine too, just didn’t last long! I’ll see how I get on with the new one...if not I’m buying another one. Awesome tutorials
I’ve had no issues with curing other than it may cure faster. The glitter doesn’t change the chemical reaction like a pigment does in my experience. Hope this helps!
I’m just finding this video and I love it. I tried it and I used the same tape you did. However mine stuck so bad and I couldn’t get it off. Even using the heat gun. I ended up throwing the piece out. What a waste of money. Any tips?
Hi Terri! Thank you, I’m not sure why your tape wouldn’t peel up. Did resin get under it? Wish you hadn’t thrown it out. Maybe sand it off or use a razor next time? Good luck
Gorgeous

Never too much glitter! Just started experimenting with resin myself and cos of ur channel I have bought glitter to use 🙈😆
SilverPenguinArtyCrafty yay!! Thank you! I love that I had something to do with the beginning of your glitter obsession 😂
I agree!
How much resin do you add to the ArmorArt white? Love the painting. Thank you so much for sharing, very helpful for me
frieda hewett thank you! Usually about 10% armor art to resin ratio
And like the others say... Never too much glitter.
Rachel Dawn yay!! Thank you!
Do you mix your white with resin or simply use it straight out of the bottle (beginner sorry)
never mind, I just figured that out :)
What’s the best way to clean measuring cups after pouring resin? I bought ones that have the ounces on the side and would like to reuse them.

Good job! Isn't it heavy now?
thank you! it's not too bad, but some of them get pretty heavy!
With that much sparkle etc does the resin cure properly? I thought that max 10% should be added to resin? Curious to know.
I’ve had no issues with curing other than it may cure faster. The glitter doesn’t change the chemical reaction like a pigment does in my experience. Hope this helps!

What is the name of the wood sealer you used?
I use polycrylic water based wood sealer!
How did you make it shiny ?
Cindy Schneider the resin makes it shiny!
Not the glitter but the plastic shiny top coat ?
Cindy Schneider yes! That’s what resin does! 😉
