    Greetings from Pontassieve, province of Florence, Italy. I have a Suzuki Jimmy 4x4 with a 1.3 LT m13a petrol engine from 2001, all original, which I use to go to the field, forest and mountain along agricultural and forestry paths.

    Greetings from Florence, Italy I own a 2001 Suzuki Jimny 4x4 with m13a 1.3L petrol engine. All original that I use on dirt country roads. I also use it on farm and mountain tracks and on country roads when they are completely covered in snow! For me, the Suzuki Jimny is a good off-road vehicle which, due to its small off-road dimensions, is superior to the nissan patrol 4x4s which are limited mastodons in off-road compared to the Suzuki Jimny 4x4 which, due to its small and compact size, moves better off-road than any larger off-road vehicle such as the Land Rover Defender!

      Hello, I use mine for recreational use and local grocery duties..it goes anywhere, even with my 1.3 engine. I always wanted a more modern Jimny, but they don't sell them here in the USA. I tried buying one from Mexico to import it, but was told they can't import them either. The one I have is fine, no complaints. 👋

      Ciao, vengo dalla provincia di Varese, Italia, ai piedi delle Alpi, ho una SJ 413 '86 verde militare completamente smontata, restaurata e ridipinta, devo ammettere che il fuoristrada è fenomenale, si arrampica ovunque e le sue dimensioni ridotte sono ideali per le stradine dei nostri boschi prealpini, sicuramente meglio del Defender, Pattuglia, Land Cruiser e cose simili.

    Nice Zuk, what suspension did you use?? And did you change the original shocks

    • @litowpn1974
      @litowpn1974  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I used the "Low Range Offroad" products. It was a 3" leaf spring and shackles. Total was a 6" gain, enough to clear. I used pro comp shocks, and I had to do the measuring to get the correct ones. So far, it handles really well. No complaints.

    really sick. How is driving performance with that small engine and the larger tires and lift

    • @litowpn1974
      @litowpn1974  ปีที่แล้ว

      It rides and handles fine. I can only go 60mph, but it doesn't bother me. It turned out nice, I am not sure if I want to beef up the engine, it seems fine like it is.

      I bought mine from here, it may be hard to get the parts because they all get imported. I had to call them, it was easier that way. Good luck and thanks.

    • @litowpn1974

      No, I went with 31 x 10 x 15 for now. The engine handles them well.

      @@litowpn1974 Love your build, thanks for sharing! I'm a big fan of narrower wheels/tires. Looks clean and rolls down the road/trail pretty easily. I run 33x10.5x15 with 6.5 transfer and 4.57 ring&pinon and a barely "performance" engine (flat top pistons & a cam chuffing on propane). Drives like a dream, but it is a little high rev on the highway (~4k rpm @ 60mph). Thankfully I live rural and don't have to compete with 80mph traffic, do a lot of 50-55 and let others pass.

    • @litowpn1974
      @litowpn1974  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @ButtKoWitz thanks, the engine is the 1.3, top speed is 65...lol, but same here, rural drive only. The inside is all custom, and looks really clean too,....I'll add some pictures.👍

    Awesome Zuk! Doing similar to my new 87. What did you do with that hood bra from when you bought it?? If you still have it around and dont want it,, I could use it to cover up some damage from when the hood flew open on the previous owner going down the freeway lol I'm in Az too BTW :) One other question, where did you get your seats done at? Do you mind if i ask ballpark how much? I checked a couple places in the east valley and Wow! $$$$

      Thanks,
      The hood bra was sun dried, so I tossed it. Sorry, I would have given it to you. The upholstery was done at a friend's business that I know. They cost me $600 and it was cheap compared to other places.
      If you are interested, I can help you with a contact name. They did a great job.

    Nice job, not a fan of Raptor paint. Easy to do yes but very had to change once it done. My advise to anyone is all ways to a proper paint job, looks better, last longer and when you sell the car on you get more money.
