Its actually very unreliable to insert a new magazine on a closed bolt on the MP5. Most of the time it will result in a failure to feed meaning that the bullets wont enter the chamber and the gun won’t fire. So in this case the fast hands reload would rarely work in real life.
Because when the bolt isn’t open you’re fighting the spring tension on a fully loaded 30 round magazine and it won’t seat correctly unless you’re absurdly firm with the initial push
Actually you have got a point because think of it if you’ve only shot 10 rounds with 30 in a mag there’s still 20 rounds left which means that the bolt doesn’t need to be reset so I don’t know why the game makes it so you have to reset the bolt everytime you don’t reset the bolt with the M4 M16 or any other weapon so what’s the mp5s excuse
I hate how for the lachmann guns, your character pulls back the charging handles when they do a tactical reload w/o fast hands. There is no reason to do that. They would just be ejecting a live round. The fast hands reload is how the normal reload should be for the lachmann guns
This should be just a basic mechanic in the game where similar to Insurgency Sandstorm, with speed reloads you throw out the old mag as fast as possible, permanently losing the ammo left in the magazine. And when you do a regular tactical reload you save the magazine, leaving the remaining ammo in your inventory. Would add some interesting thinking play to reloading.
Someone should make a modded server where you can press r once for a normal reload, then double tap r for a faster reload at the cost of losing all the ammo that would've been in that magazine.

@@melon5126 pretty much but they could’ve just done the stupid missing the magwell like the fennec. If you notice when he reloads the vector he misses the mag and has to readjust before it reloads. The mp5 fors kinda do that but with bigger mags
@@quadnodsarelife weapons have different reload speeds for balancing purposes. The animators just have to make an animation to fulfill that timer. This is mostly the reason why some extended mags often have different or added animations to compensate. This is mostly evident on drum or casket mags.
