Only thing that saves saitamas ass is his durability. Like mfs durability on another level. In manga at one time garou was almost on par with saitama. But even so he couldn’t damage saitama. How the fuck someone can win against a character like him 😮💨.

In the manga, Garou literally becomes the god of the anime, and fights saitama and gives him a "proper fight" in his eyes. But then due to the fight occuring through the fabrics of time, Garou gets defeated but not by three punches, not two, not even one. But zero punches showing how saitama will and forever always will be the strongest mf alive.
Garou might be strong physically, but if his backstory amounts to being angsty towards heroes because he was picked on as a kid, he has the emotional strength of a wet noodle.
His goal is a bit stronger, but yeah this is pretty weak. The manga even touches on this a small bit with Garou saying himself he must have a weak mind.

He’s the arch type who hates the status quo but the root of it really does come from his childhood we as people are molded by it like it or not.
I would love to see a true battle of metal bat. Looks like the stronger the opponent the stronger he gets. I believe the weakness is that if he gets hit with a blow, he can't match its over, but still would like to see.

Watching the show, its pretty evident that Garou obtains the abilities of those he encounters. He's open minded, learned silver fangs martial art, he learned watchdog man's abilities after fighting him. He fought metal bat and after getting whipped by silver fang and his brother, seemed he picked up the spirit of metal bat that lets him grow stronger upon taking damage. Giving saitama a challenge will probably let him onto how saitama's power works. That'll make for a fair fight for saitama i'd think whenever that happens. I didn't read the manga so this is probably common knowledge lol
