Beautiful results!! Thanks for sharing your knowledge 🌸 🥰. What kind of varnish did you use? Is it good as a top coat of high traffic items like coasters?
Loved the video but could you tell me which varnish did you use? Is it a waterproof? I always use mod podge matte (which is not waterproof) I want to make something which I can say it is a waterproof Thank you for the video ...would love to follow your technic for my next project 👍🏻
your work is awesome!!! I have a problem with the boxes. I apply the matte varnish but although it's dry the lid gets, sort of, glued with the main body of the box. what should I do to avoid this issue?
i dont know i understand you good becouse my english its not perfect :P . you must wait that varnish its totally dry prefer apply 2 times varnish per day ;) and use sandpeper betwen varnish . sometimes we think that varnih its dry but inside its still " wet" varnishing need time ;)
pentart its good varnish. sandpeper help make equal surface from varnish . its hard to say how manny coats of varnish we need , sometimes its 5 sometimes it can be 20 important its to melt napkin or paper into the background . and inportant its to wait when varnish will realy dry ,safe its wait something like 5 hours . its very good you use sandpaper before you apply primet then we shuld use sandpaper after primer or acrylic paint and then after varnish ;)
looks fantastic!! just a question :) what did the rubbing of the candle do ? if u can answer it will increase my knowledge. Thank you so much for sharing
I don't understand why you painted it Gray when ur painting it white or a lighter color after ... Unless u changed ur mind... Decided to go light ... I'm just curious... Thank you :)
i dont change my mind :) this is special . like you see then i used sand paper becouse i want that box look "older" and that this grey color go out from the light color . :*
every video I see, people use white as their "top" layer before decopauging.. the project I want to work on will primarily be blue. can I skip the white? I think its just for "best visual" finish.. sometimes you cant even see the first color used. can anyone please explain this to me? thanks!!
color under napkin or ricepaper must be bright ,white bige ecru and so on , if not then napkin will lose own colors and it will look so bad , try put first layer of napkin in some dark color you will see how its look bad . you can paint your work on blue color but place under napkin or paper must be bright .
bonjour je cherche des serviettes à rose bleue pourriez vous me dire ou vous trouvez les votre merci bcp cordialement c'est pour la fête des mère (elle adore le bleu)
hm ... ;) i dont sow it never on my works " yellow finish" of glue ;) use sand paper and varnish maybe it will help you to dont have "yellow finish". on that work everyting have beige color ;) acrylic and napkin .

Deco Art I use the varnish of pentart I bought it from store who sell products for decoupage... sandpaper? why ? 5 coats of varnish are enough?
and I use sandpaper only in start before I apply the primer....
